I've started shearing our rescued sheeps bums..

I've started shearing the bums to avoid fly strike and treated to prevent flues using need oil.. the second video to follow from this short one will be the finsihed bum sheared so to speak..

How funny, my uncle was a shearer and he said he thinks I do a brilliant job with these clippers. I used to have professional shearers come and shear them decades ago but they often cut the sheep quite badly and even cut nipples off sometimes. I use these sheers because they don't ever cause harm to the sheep and I don't see any problem with that. It works for me.

There is a reason clippers are made for specific animals. Dog clippers are not made to clip wool. Getting appropriate clippers/blades determine how much effort, or in your case, wasted effort is expended. 😂
