  • I wanted a way to ensure I was sanding at a 90 degree angle with my belt sander. This quick build was the most cost effective way I could thinking of, using scrap MDF, screws, and zip ties.

Great idea, I’ll have to make one of these!

One thing I noticed is the many different brands of tools you have. I appreciate when people care more about the tools than the brands. I just bought an all Dewalt set of tools, but I also use many other brands. You’ll have some people come to your channel complaining about the tools you use. Just a heads up lol🤣
Hope we see more videos from you!

That's awesome, and I'm a big fan of Makita, they have some awesome and original tools. I'll be here for the next video.
Also as someone who makes videos myself, I would suggest pacing yourself. It can be expensive and stressful making a video a week when first starting out.

I like your cost saving design. What sandpaper grit do you generally keep in that belt sander since it would be a pain to change it out often? 80# ? 120# ?

      Thank you, Tim!
I believe it's actually 60 grit, and I haven't changed it since I built it; however, I did build it so that the belt gets changed from the top and is still fully accessible.
