    Suggestion - Use 3/8" strapping tape rather than masking tape to hold the paper ends on the drum - works better...

    Holy crap that was a crazy number of passes. Why not use a belt sander for the bulk of material and finish with the flat master ?

    Can you flip it over and make the other side flat as well? will the two flat sides be parallel to each other?

      I would think that much like a jointer- both sides with be flat, but not necessarily parallel.

    lets see it with a name brand straight edge with light behind it by length and width. does he use masking tape in all his flatmaster videos.

    A router sled could of made that in 1 pass.
