Jim Halpert wore the white/black colorway in the warehouse basketball episode of The Office. I thought it was a nice detail since he’s from Philly.
It’s a bummer about the tech and the materials Reebok used. I’m still going to get these because AI was my favorite player growing up, and these were one of his shoes from his line I didn’t get a chance to grab when I was a kid
Answer 3 was retro’d the first time as a team shoe on Eastbay in the late 2000’s. When they went on clearance I purchased a bunch of different big kids sizes for $19.99 for my son.

Exactly‼️ this is not the first time they have been retroed... I had 2 pairs of these I bought about 12 years ago and I still have a pair of them today. The first time they were retroed they had the air transfer system in them, and they are a great lightweight shoe with less rubber in the bottom. Reebok was ahead of its time with these. Shame they cut corners, especially since they're still charging full price.
The white/black and all black colorways were my favorite pairs to both hoop in and wear casually back in the day since they were so comfy so I've been waiting a long time for this retro, but so disappointed they got rid of the real DMX technology and went so cheap on the materials... guess I'll just have to keep hunting for OG pairs on eBay (got the white/black and maroon colorways so far, but still need the all blacks). Thanks for the great (and hilarious) review, as always!
These were my first pair of Iverson’s. Dragged my mom through every store in the mall trying to find this red pair, but in hindsight I don’t think the red pair was ever released in kid’s sizing. The white/black colorway went better with my team jersey anyways.

I have been rooting for Reebok for years. When I was a kid, The Pumps with the ERS system were my favorite, then I had a pair of lowtop black gum bottom above the rims, and an Air Jordan 11 esque pair of Reeboks called the Strafters. Reebok was iconic. I hope that they can come back with better quality.
It’s funny to see the difference of quality and accuracy with retro at reebok! Just got the pump vertical above the time and they’re so close to the original! We would love a review of these!!
I use to hoop in the White/Black colorway when they originally released. AI's line for me personally were the most comfortable kicks to hoop in back then.
With all that being said, I no longer hoop like that anymore, and I only cop Retros for nostalgia and casual wear. So these are definitely getting copped if/when they drop in the U.S.
I've been waiting year's for reebok to retro the Question 2. It's a stunning looking shoe, so I'm surprised Reebok hasn't shown it any love.
bruh....they NEVER re-releasing those. They Sold VERY BAD when they were released in the summer of 04'.

Ran into Iverson outside the store Walters in Atlanta during his Nugget years. I was so shocked I couldn't even get a word out. He had an entire crew of people with him.
The only way Reebok can make a comeback. They need to use the best retro models, quality material, and new colorways.
Thanks for the review. For me, I can only wear the Questions and Answer 1's. The rest of his line just never held up visually. I do remember the Answer 3's standing out on the first NBA 2k on Dreamcast. I guess that makes sense with him being the cover athlete. 💯

WearTesters, excellent review - such a shame on the build quality of these but Reebok is a in a lose/lose situation as their product almost always goes on sale. I agree with you wholeheartedly that the Answer II should have been reissued multiple times already. The Answer II Lites especially were iconic!
I was geeked to see they were droppin. But they look so cheap I might have to pass on em... I got a W on the cherry 12s so I can't wait to pull off some fire fits in em!

I still have the 9 & 10 auto pumps.
I was actually only wearing the 9 a few day's ago.

I really wish Reebok would bring their 90's tech back. This colorway / design is sick but I doubt I'd rock them often due to lack of cushioning / comfort.
Those r so beautiful I been waiting since we herd about these in 2015 I have to cop 2 pair my 2nd favorite AI shoe. I'm more excited about those then any other shoe this year

I think the silhouette n color way are dope. Might be a shoe just aimed at nostalgic heads. Disappointed the air pack is missing. Does it have a carbon fiber shank?

It's amazing how revolutionary reebok was back in the day. These done before Shaq to over so maybe the next one will be better. I do agree that are the best lookin Iverson's of any Iverson 👍🏽. BTW, these could be the best materials, have the pods, the best insoles and everything u want and they'd still not be popular in the states. Future looks bright, "In Shaq we trust".
My favorite Iverson's but the Georgetown colorway.
Answer 4 was foam I think. Either it felt like a better flow. It was similar gripiness (until the traction wore off) but the Answer was bouncier.
Just cop m'y paire for only 70 bucks (thx reebook) y was waiting 20+ years for that kicks return!!
Question 2 for Olympics and Question 3 for Nuggets 2nd season
The 3s also retroed in 2006 and 2008, but the red suede retro is the 1st time
Luckily, I could still get some Shock Pads by Reebok to replace the original insoles
I enjoy my pair. Probably nostalgic reasons. My friend had these in highschool. I guess they don't feel special materials wise. I love the way they look. Thanks for putting me onto their store Chris.

Yeah does suck they didn't put their heart in this shoe or know how big this shoe is . I really don't mind. I'm buying to collect them once again when I was a kid. I didn't think to keep shoes like that. More times, most of us are not playing play like that anymore. we are wearing it to go out and stuff . I'm just happy I get a chance to try to collect all his shoes. The next colour I'm looking for will be the black and whites that was the better colour to me . I think they are testing the waters with this, so let's see what happens they cone out on November 10th in the states
I had these shoes when I played in my 8th grade basketball team and I absolutely hated them. Unfortunately, that was my last time owning a pair of Reeboks. 😢

It’s great that they dug into their heritage back for something outside the question, but it’s extremely disappointing to see them cheap them out like this. Reebok is known for putting good materials on their legacy models. Especially in the last few years. Disappointing is the perfect word for this. Great review though

Ill still get them. I like the 3s the best, next to the Questions and Answer X. It just sux that the shoe is basically hollow.

Man I ran into this dude twice in charlotte, nc. I worked at a hotel in 2017 and he walked through the lobby and gave me a head nod. I saw him earlier this year at a lids and dude completely brushed me off in front of my son and pretended he was on an important call the entire time 😂😂

Im sorry to hear that, the rapper Shyheim is also a dick too. Long story short he posted one of the guys he worked with that passed away it was the guys birthday. And I was speaking to someone else on the post saying rumors said that this guy said he wrote for Shyheim alittle. And Shyheim confronted me asking does he sound like the guy he worked with no. So as a die hard fan of his Im only telling him what I’ve heard and I respect him. All he said was ask “Doggie Diamond” about the situation about me and the guy we squashed that water under the bridge. But I just wanted to know the truth that’s all. And went back to continue talking to whoever in the comments and said “this is why they tell us to never idolized people we look up to.” And he took down the whole post because that shit. After that I never listened to his music like that again
In my humble opinion the shoes look great specially the on the foot view .. when it comes to shoes you got hoopers and you got people the were the shoes for fashion .. they're clean to me I'm a rock them regardless all

The question was in pre production before iverson was signed with reebok, its liteeally how they got him to sign with them instead of nike bc they had a shoe designed made and ready to go.

I played in the originals in high school. The issues were the traction and the midsole height. You sat so high off the ground I’d always turn my ankles.
Just waiting on the black & white release that’s the only pair i want in the answer 3’s 🔥
The best thing about the DMX technology was "the tech" knowing they don't give us that now is the easiest way for me to pass on any Reebok retro

Despite Your unfavorable review, I ordered a pair for myself because I always liked Answer 3 in this colorway but never had 'em back in the day. They also bring back some good memories. I agree that the quality of the materials could be better. Grabbed 'em with a 50% discount tho ;-)
Where did you get them 50% off? I love the style of the shoe. It just sucks that its just a foam shell. I cant justify 140 for these with no DMX tech.

I honestly think that you should reach out to Reebok bc this is a new day and era they may actually listen to you tbh! I'm from the South so Soulja Rees was a Must Dee Brown's was a Must and AIs was a Must but they do Need to step up the overall look and quality

Honestly the Iverson line had horrible quality when it originally released. They were super lightweight but were not durable at all. It was my sneaker of choice to hoop in but tended to rip with strong cuts and quick change of direction

3:05 I feel like these weren’t called the answer 2 but the answer lite. I had the Georgetown cw in middle school and they were kind of @$$ if my memory serves me correctly

Never had these, I had the Answer 2 back in the day with the foam & DMX and the were the most comfortable & lightest ball shoes i every wore & played in. I'd Reebok kept the retros when the same quality they would've still be popular among ballers cuz the comfort was better than alot of Nike's and even a jordan iwore. &i i bought 2 pairs of $40 Reebok cloud ride 4with DMX, so why they can't put it in these Answer 3, is beyond me, those cloud rides were one of the comfortable shoes i ever wore, so much so, I bought one for my girl too. I thought leaving Adidas would stop the self sabotage. Guess i was wrong. To me they should retro the 10 as they were the best performing answers & the 13as they were quite fashionable & styles timeless to me

These should be recalled... how could they not have DMX in these? DMX is one of the few shoe techs that you can actually FEEL! And the fact that there is a DMX logo on there, that can be called false advertising. 🤦🏾♂️
I was disappointed when the Answer 1 red/white released recently with the painted on gold nail polish instead of the plastic pieces and took away the translucent gold pods. Seem like Reebok is following Nike.
