P&S Rags to Riches is my go-to microfiber towel cleaner. I wash in cold or cool water and dry them on the delicate cycle. I store them in Sterilite bins and have separate bins for them once they are used and wash them at the end of the day

Great content. I enjoyed watching both the towel selection video and this video.
My late Dad used a chamois to dry his car and that is what used for years, until super absorbent rags were invented 20+ years ago.
Nowadays I have a ceramic coated car and wash it regularly. I try to dry with an electric blower and then drying towels. That seems to be the progression that DIY folks are doing at home. I just threw away my microfiber towels that I used with ceramic coating.

My car is covered in microfiber fuzz after the car wash this morning, perfect timing. Lol

I tend to buy lower-cost microfibers that I will only use once on the polishing/waxing side of things, anything that touches paint. I hand wash & dry and use them again, but never to polish paint. They are used on progressively dirtier parts of the car like interior, door openings, engine bay, wheels & eventually final use like oil change rags.

Cheap rags don’t belong on paint!

@@OutofSpecDetailing on the old cars I own? The cars you work on, I would definitely buy some better quality microfibers.

Something is out of spec here - Single use policy for interior towels? 50-75 total towels per car? Unreal.

What options do you have when you search “microfiber detergent?”

Excellent video, a little OCD when taking care of paint is a good thing!

So… just throw them away is what I got out of this video. Everything else is a gimmick
