  • Join us as we spend a day at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, Oahu Hawaii. We found the entire experience to be well worth a full day (or more) and the ticket price. The PCC has the best Polynesian Entertainment in Hawaii and gives you an immersive cultural learning experience with activities, performances, lessons & displays of all the islands of Polynesia. What really makes the PCC better than any other luau venue is the evening show, Ha: Breath of Life. We give the PCC a 10/10 and would love to go back again someday!
    Make sure you remember to bring sunscreen with you. Even though it rained on us part of the day and many of the performances are under covered structures it's easy to still end up with sun burns.
    Pricing and Ticket Information:
    We purchased for the Ali'i Luau Package in this video which includes the Islands of Polynesia, Luau Buffet & Breath of Life show. There are a lot of ticket options and other packages that you can read about on the PCC's website: [Link removed for now, but you can just google Polynesia culture center to find it]

    One of the most amazing places I’ve ever been. Yes it is worth a visit, and it is a MUST that you go to the night event where they do a depiction of each culture through a story.

    Yes! Get the guided tour! Go to the luau! See the show!
    If you spend all day wondering if you are getting your money’s worth, maybe you will be more critical? But our two teenagers are opposites of each other and they both loved it. The adults in our group loved it. It added a whole extra layer of appreciation to our Hawaii trip, learning something about Polynesian culture.

    I suggest planning on two days to visit the PCC to do it justice. Get a map and make a plan to best see and enjoy visiting this place. It's such an experience that it can be overwhelming.

      Great suggestion! We only spent one day here and ended up missing some of the activities/shows in the villages due to a lack of time. A second day could have been really nice.

    Thank you for this! Are there other food options if you don't do the Gateway Buffet?

    • @murphytravelsofficial
      @murphytravelsofficial  Před 2 lety +3

      Yes there are food stands before you enter the islands and snack bars located throughout the island villages. You can also eat at their Hukilau Restaurant. For dinner you can choose from the Ali'i Luau or the Gateway Buffet - both require reservations and last about 2 hrs 🌺😊

    I dig it.

    So if I get the alli luau package… is the buffet free for all 3 days? Or is that 3 day pass only to visit the island villages?

    • @murphytravelsofficial
      @murphytravelsofficial  Před 2 lety +1

      I believe you can go to the Buffet and Breath of Life show once (the first day) and then you have 3 days of access to the Island Villages. 🙂

    How long is needed to stay here? If i come in at 2pm and then buffet and show, is it ok?

    • @murphytravelsofficial
      @murphytravelsofficial  Před 7 měsíci

      We got there closer to when they open and felt like we could have used a little more time. I know some people spend two days here. But you would probably still be able to see a lot of the things if you didn't get there until 2. You might end up missing some of the villages or their events though.
