    I really like this take on Cassai, looking forward to try it out! It would have been awesome with some thoughts about cards that were considered but didnt make the cut. Mainly Im curious about your thoughts on Commanding performance?

      Yeah that's a good point. It's hard to find those as their can be alot of cards to consider.

      Hey, I tried commanding performance but found the deck was wanting to cost curve off a blue to pay for 2 weapon swings and a 1 cost go again, so commanding performance costing 1 can be very awkward + inconsistent. Additionally, because you don’t always have an on hit on your weapon the power of commanding performance is reduced as you struggle to create the same “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situations that Dori can with commanding performance

    Poah actually looking at the missing cards after a long hiatus. Excellent kassai vision especially your point on take it on the chin. Nothing to cute or fancy, just straight logic. Kassai is a bully because of dynamos.

    Is Estrike a possible add? With a Agility token, thats 5 go again draw a card to then have free weapon swings.

    • @jacobclements3652
      @jacobclements3652 Před 5 měsíci +2

      Possibly, it would weaken the nourishing emptiness’ and you are sometimes relying on the agility as your go again source for the weapons but give it a try, a 1 card 5 which nets you 2 resources is nothing to scoff at when it works

    If I want to replace of copper set ( spoil of war , blood on her hands , outland ). which cards that you recommend to replace those cards

    • @jacobclements3652
      @jacobclements3652 Před 5 měsíci +2

      I would replace spoils with 3 warriors valour in the Main although actually I could see running spoils even without the copper synergy. And then I think you could swap Outland skirmish for sink below and put either fate foreseen or red shunts in the sideboard where you used to run sink. And then maybe run shift the tide of battle over BOHH as another yellow. Then in the sideboard where you now have the space previously filled by warriors valour you could go up to 3 cash in as explosivity in the agro mu and run 1 more attack react (probably stroke of foresight) for grindy mu’s.
      This would be a more defensive/slower build of the deck and particularly into agro it would possibly perform worse because you don’t have a power play comparable to their art of war/blood rush bellow turns but these cards I’m suggesting instead would all be good value and orient the deck in a slightly more defensive way

      @@jacobclements3652 Thank you for your answer. that is really good.

    Thanks Jacob, excellent deck tech. Just a bit unsure about the correct use of gold. If in the grindy matchups, should you always be saving gold for late game Raise and Army or should I be spending it early to fuel hero ability and only be saving toward the late game. Second question, is Rasie an Army only good for those grindy warrior/assassin/guardian matches or does it have value in the brute and aggro matches (vs spending gold to draw cards and trigger hero ability). Thanks.

    Would love to know your thoughts on the card “Draw Swords” it is expensive to play, sure, but off of a vigor token, you’d only need to pitch a yellow to draw a card, make your swords free and get +3.

    • @jacobclements3652
      @jacobclements3652 Před 5 měsíci +1

      Hey, draw swords is definitely interesting and of a vigor you could pitch a blue to it + use your vigor to pay for the blade runner/spoils or something which is very powerful basically making draw swords net you a card.
      my problem is the deck already is overrun with 0for3 buffs with upside and the way I think about draw swords is as a 0for3 buff with the upside net 2 resources but the downside of randomizing your hand + punishing you if you draw a blue/dreact/situational card your not set up for. I can see it having some success in some versions of the deck (particularly a build I can see using it in an agro meta is one which tries to run higher impact blues such as trom) but I think the variance it introduces makes it not worth it. Also the more draw a card effects you run the worse they all become as the more likely you are to have already drawn a card and therefore not benefit from kassai’s ability.

      @@jacobclements3652 fair enough! I understand your rationale behind not using it. :) I wonder whether it could function better in a deck that’s oriented with going for big swings with the new attack actions or even the decimator axe.

    • @jacobclements3652
      @jacobclements3652 Před 5 měsíci

      Yea that is definitely something you could look at, you could probably also get a lot of use out of other draw synergies I’m not using like the agility with e-strike draw someone else mentioned, the big downside of that build is probably less uses of dynamos but definitely give it a build and see what it’s like, cards like lead with speed are powerful agility enablers I didn’t end up playing but could be good in that build?

    How does raise an army work?

    • @PushThePoint
      @PushThePoint  Před 5 měsíci +1

      You spend a X gold token to put down x sell swords. The sell swords are allys that have their own hp and can attack. It's gd because even if the opponent kill them, that's damage not going to you.
