I will be voting for this man, I voted for Harper and I will vote for PP all the way, I miss Harper, he kept us safe, he was educated in economics, we survived the bank crash because of him, we were the envy of the world, less government means less taxes, people like the Liberals always say he will cut things ? we survived the crash because Canada has regulations that keep the banks strong .the US didn't and Harper didn't save the banks
@@barrykervin4219 Read what I said, not what you assume, I did not say he saved the banks, we survived the recession because of his Economic Action Plan that cut personal income tax ,and Invested in Infrastructure and you got the tax free savings account, cut goods and service tax to 5%. The fact that immigration has not harmed Canada indicates that they are really needed in the Canadian economy. Trudeau's govt made good choices of who to accept because they have adapted well to Canadian society. Tests are not a critical factor. Whatever standards are enforced on immigrants are with the permission of existing workers and their councils. And those are at the provincial level anyway. Also Trudeau seems to be reducing the rate of immigration because of the problem with over burdening services. Immigration seems to be managed well.
BC has been paying the Carbon Tax for well over 12 years ( Provincially) and no cheques handed back in this Province.
The BC carbon taxes have done nothing for climate change either. What a scam.

The only reason why I might support a union in the trades is that some trades are actually dangerous and the workers need the protection. Otherwise, I don't support unions at all.

I’m proud of Mr. Poiliervre, he is a true Canadian and I fully support him and his political ideologies. When a person says the budget will balance itself, right there it’s a proof that he’s not capable of balancing the budget or whoever his appointed finance minister. PP had a lot to clean up and it’s going to be a hard ride..people need to know this so they don’t start whining why it’s not happening fast. The thing about promises is, anyone can make them. Keeping them is quite different. There are bigger force’s at play than mere promise making can facilitate. The devil as they say, is in the details. Lacking such, other than being p o’d at not holding power is not a plan.

Factor’s like a low Canadian dollar, that factors heavily on the cost of food imports. Canadian worker’s sweat the same as any other worker around the world, yet our labour is valued differently.
Money crosses border’s faster than people, and a lot easier too. It isn’t the poor and middle class that fled Canada in decade’s past , it’s capital that fled in favour of where it could hire labour cheaper. That first Free Trade deal that allowed it to happen.

It’s ok wanting change and i really can’t blame people but, Canada is really at a cross roads. The revolving door of Ottawa is really hurting the people, not raising people up as all tide’s should do.
I would really love to take everything Mr. Poilivre say’s at face value but, the history does not bare that truth out, unfortunately. These aren’t just growing pains that we’re dealing with. It is the inability to properly calibrate the necessary plans, laws & policy’s that will hold Canada on a steady upward path and standard of living for the live’s of it’s citizen’s.
What about the disabled people and the seniors money?

In BC now people that are working at Mills are starting to rumor that they will not be able to retire from the mills they work at like they had planned because they are not making enough money to retire off of!
4 years ago people that were working at Sav-On Foods were stating they could not afford to buy majority of the food they sold and I highly doubt thats changed!
In our city we've been told that we are ineligible for a food basket because we make 60,000 a year when at times we are panicking not having enough food for our children in the fridge or freezer even if my husband and I are skipping meals so they have enough for the upcoming week unfortunately no matter how much we budget now we are finding that with everything doubling it is literally showing within our paycheck after one week... we are broke with no additional money to support our family until our next paycheck which is gone within a week of that after as well! Our current prime minister lies to all of us continuously and thinks that he can outsmart us but we can see it literally through our paychecks I don't know if he understands that 😢

In Canada the government gives people $2,500 to pay for burial so I don’t understand why this would have happened.
You could call a funeral home and enquire about the costs. Everything has gone way up, but $2500 Death Benefit from the government (CPP?) was in place 14 years ago, and I don't know how much longer before that. But the liberals made sure the politicians all got big raises.

I earned my plumbing and gas fitting Red Seal just over 20 years ago. I went independent just two months before Covid measures kicked into high gear.
Yeah, we have a serious problem within the hew construction industry when the wages of highly qualified and absolutely essential techs have stalled out for almost ten years now.
