Chaos erupts in House of Commons as Trudeau, Poilievre exchange personal attacks

- Question period took place once again on Wednesday in the House of Commons, where Conservative Party of Canada leader Pierre Poilievre and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took up much of the hour exchanging and disagreeing on the topic of foreign election interference and how to approach it.
But that didn't last long before both leaders went at one another in a series of personal attacks. First, Poilievre made reference to Trudeau's background as a high school teacher, promoting the Canadian Prime Minister to ask what job Poilevre held before entering politics.
Poilevre and Trudeau also accused one another of being conceited, with the Conservative leader saying if Trudeau were made of chocolate, "he would eat himself!"
Speaker of the House Anthony Rota, on several occasions, attempted to calm the crowd, but seemingly, to no avail.
Even the Leader of the Bloc Québécois, Yves-François Blanchet, stepped in to add his own two cents.

Our current pathetic excuse of a prime minister has added more to our national debt than all of his predecessors put together.
What most people don't seem to realize is that that also comes with a cost - interest has to be paid on it, and interest rates are rising along with inflation. That interest has to be paid for through higher taxes and/or reductions in government spending elsewhere. You pay more, and you get less.
Those of you who think that it's so great to get a pittance of "free" dental care fail to understand that inflation, higher interest rates, and higher taxes will cost you far, far more.
We went through this four decades ago. My first mortgage had an 11.75% interest rate, but, fortunately, housing was plentiful and I bought my house, on a quarter-acre lot, for only $54,000. How many homeowners could afford that rate today, with current prices?

I became politically aware as a teenager under the reign of Trudeau I, and learned quickly enough to vote Conservative when I became eligible to vote.
I never expected to see a worse prime minister than Trudeau I, but that has indeed happened with Trudeau II.
My family came to Canada in 1965, two years before our Centennial. I well remember the energy that swept this Country that year. It was truly glorious, and the complete opposite of the mood of this Country today.

You do understand the selection bias of the comments you're reading though, right? It's an echo chamber. If we were to go by the comments here, the conservatives would win with 95% of the vote every time. And yet, the liberals have been repeatedly reelected. Even if the conservatives were to win next time, it would be with a swing of a few percent.

This is our Parliament. How low we have sunk: personal grudge matches between the PM and the leader of HM Opposition. Personal insults abound. If we had Proportional Representation Parliament could send them packing and would if the felt the way I feel.

I'm just surprised people still put any trust and care into politics. Voting happens every once in a few years and it's all a big song and dance show. Big act, big mud-slinging affair. And we are supposed to care and believe in this politicians? Screw that. They get none of my respect. People in my actual community or family and friends of mine earn my respect because they've done things that have actually helped me or my community. That's what matters.
Why spend much time being angry and divided by Federal politics which we can't do much about? It's fine to get out your anger, whatever, it is frustrating how little politicians actual do to help the average person, but they are in the pockets of themselves and their rich capitalist donors, that should be a surprise that they don't care about us.
Focus on something more local, more tangible. Our small towns, our communities. One Small Town at a time, we can build communities of abundance and prosperity. Doesn't matter what talking head is in the House of Common Liars.
