      If it's that tight try to unscrew 2 times first (more if needed) until feels that comes comfortable out, just not super loose though. If the thread comes out nicely from the bobbin and still not looking good, then you need to tighten the top thread tension to bring up the bobbin thread. I hope it makes sense.

      I suggest you follow the steps in the video starting with the minute 4:20.
      If that doesn't work and the screen is not responsive you may need someone specialized in the machine software.
      Please let me know if it works or not, I am curious about the problems of this type of machine. Thank you!

    Mi top thread is is making loose loops on top on the bottom. No bobbin thread showing either. Under it’s a birds nest. :(. It was working fine before I don’t know why it’s doing this now.

    • @Lovesewing896
      @Lovesewing896  Před rokem

      If it worked fine before, I would rethread the top completely, it’s possible to be out of some place.

      @@Scarlettscarlrt-lw6gutop loose thread is happening usually if the thread is missing a spot. If you can't find it, better rethread the machine (correctly of course).

    • @Lovesewing896
      @Lovesewing896  Před rokem

      First you need Water Soluble Stabilizer on top and regular stabilizer underneath, then you may need to loosen the top and tighten the bottom. Test it and keep adjusting the same until is right. Sorry I found this so late...

      @@Lovesewing896 I went settings and found the manufacturer had the tension set to zero! . It was my first attempt ar using the new PE800:) I then set it on 3 and embroidered the built in dragon design and it stitched out perfect. I’m still trying to get use to the machine. I learned on PE150 frim 20 yrs ago. It still works but I cant find anything compatible so i can copy designs to a memory card. I have a reader writer box that connected to computer with a serial port. It needs an old computer wuth windows 98, XP, or Vista. So basically I am stuck with out of date technology. It embroiders 4x4 nicely. Hubby bought me the PE 800 as an early Birthday present.

I have them organized with Buzz Tools so I can see what they look like before selecting them to load onto a usb stick. lol . I need. Some 5x7 designs. There aren’t as many freebies like there was years ago.

    Hello, my bobbin thread is showing up quite alot in the design on the top when im not using Brother brand bobbin thread. Does that mean its too loose? Or too tight? Brother brand bobbin thread is harder to find and more expensive so I would like to just buy some other brand off of Amazon.

    • @Lovesewing896
      @Lovesewing896  Před 9 měsíci +1

      It's possible that the one you are using is sliding out easier, so you can try tightening the bobbin case. It is also best to use top and bottom the same kind of thread 🧵.
      After tightening the bobbin case, if the stitches seem too tight, you might want to loosen the top thread.

    • @kjblade11
      @kjblade11 Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@Lovesewing896 I ended up adjusting the bobbin tension. It might have been too loose. So I tightened it all the way and realized that I must have over tightened it because the bobbin thread could no longer be pulled once I started the machine back up. But after loosening it up a bit and also loosening the tension of the top thread, everything started working perfectly. Thanks again for showing where to even adjust the bobbin tension! That was a big help!

    • @Lovesewing896
      @Lovesewing896  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Make sure you have the same thread at the bottom as the top.
      Maybe you changed the type of thread? If is thicker thread then you should adjust the bobbin case as in the video, to lose it. Also, a possibility is that for whatever reason when you loaded the bobbin it loaded too tight, which doesn't allow to come out easy so loosening the bobbin case might help, if not, try a different bobbin, check how is threaded when loading not to be too tight.

    How do you know if its too loose or tight? My top thread is always too tight.

    • @Lovesewing896
      @Lovesewing896  Před rokem

      I don't know how to put it in words... When you pull the thread from the bobbin should feel loose, easy to come out but not too loose, then you loosen the top if is too tight.
      The stitches on the fabric should not look loose or too tight, also if you see the top thread a little bit underneath that means is adjusted correctly.

      Hi,
      I didn't study the manual, but if there is a way to restart the software of the machine that might help. If that doesn't work, you may need someone specialized, because it's possible the sensor to be out or a software malfunction.

    How do you know exactly how much to turn the bobbin screw either way. You didn't turn the screw. That's my problem, which way and how much to turn the screw?

    • @Lovesewing896
      @Lovesewing896  Před 9 měsíci

      The normal rule applies here too “Righty tighty, lefty loosey”.
      You can tell from the bottom of the stitches if is really tight or not. If it is too tight, you can turn left 360 degrees. Test the machine and see if it needs more.
