- Hey guys!
Biostatistics questions about Absolute Risk Reduction (ARR), Attributable risk (AR) and Number Needed to Harm (NNH) can be very confusing on the USMLE Step 1. In this video I'll walk you through two UWorld questions and break them down in a simple way, so keep watching!
Thank you so much Noor! We are having our public health block and I am finallly getting all these questions right!!! You the best.
Excellent Kvon! Means a lot
ARR- treatment is protective, less event rate
so, Ec-Et
AR- treatment is harmful, more event rate
so, Et-Ec
Event rate= a/a+b
NNT=1/ARR
NNH=1/AR
NNH=higer number, safer drug
NNT=Lower number, safer drug
Thanks Noor!
Please keep up the good job!
Sure thanks Faris!

@@acingmedicine Omg! Thank you so much!! God bless you!
Thanks alot Dr for this useful information, can you please guide us for a quick reference to get the concepts of biostatistics. Appreciating your time and help.
Use First Aid biostats and NBMEs, read UWorld explanations for the biostat questions. That was enough for me
