If you want to strengthen it further have a 2 x 6 on the bottom on both sides and have an Angled support brace from the bottom structure to the underside of the 2x6.

Remember the 3” rule also since it makes sure your mattress has enough space to breathe but also enough support so it doesn’t have any sunken spots
