Hot Tips
- Make sure you have space to work and have measured your area for bed to fit
- Safety is key
- When doing your tufted design map it on paper first them use as template
- USE UPHOLSTER FABRIC, I DIDN’T AND HAD ISSUES WITH RIPPING
- Gather all your materials before you start anything
- Price your materials , use coupons, always get a little extra just in case
- Drape fabric to size before cutting

The only question I have is how did you attach the parts together ? Did you use any hinges ? Or did you just screwed them together ??
Hey Alexxus !!!!! Am happy that my video could be helpful!!! You are going to enjoying building your bed I promise :) Since I have carpet my bed stays in place. I laid the headboard against my wall and mattress keeps its stable, sides and foot board and bench can be screw together. I place mine around my bed and it does a good job staying in place. Possibly industry size velcro would be nice too ♥️ Good luck love I cant wait to see your end results!!!

Hey hey I had to really sit on this project and plan out everything !! I documented the project durning but with no intentions of making a video till I saw the result!! Video would have for sure so more struggle lol 😊 Take your time and try to complete one step completely before moving to the next. That helped me tremendously !!! Good luck love

Yayyyy and congrats!!!! Yes I used a plank to keep boards side by side and if I need to move it it can just be unscrewed. I used med length wood possibly 1inch or 1inch and a half. I screwed on top of the peg board to make sure the it’s supported the weight in the front facing side :) I hope that help love!!!!

Hey Justice I got the inspiration from pinterest and an etsy account that sales them. Haven’t been able to find the account recently tho. I studied the bed for two months collected tools and supplies then just jumped in took three weeks (kids and work you know )

Did you also used screws and washers for the headboard? Seeing that the ped board(I think that's what it's called lol) has holes in it

What is holding up the mattress and box spring ? How many yards of fabric did you use
Hey Jorie I decided to let my bed sit on the floor so my box spring and my mattress is holding up the headboard along with the side rails. I used around 9 to 10 yards of fabric the link is in the description box and it’s more of fashion fabric versus upholstery ♥️
Hey love I used close to maybe 4-6 yards , it’s has a little stretch to it. I placed two fabric strips side by side toe get the full size for width :)

The headboard came out nice. Although I like the first attempt at tufting better, lol. Is the outer bench suppose to be higher? I would like mine to hide the boxspring. And how did you attach the pieces together??? Did you put slats across the frame? There's so much you didn't show

Love this so much. For the headboard how did you secure the tufts? I’m a bit confused because the peg board has holes so there isn’t really anything to screw in to.

Hey Iesha!! I use 3 pieces for each side, but none underneath to prevent from flipping over :) ( 3 pieces for each side =6 total and 3 for the foot bench) .
