This tower ladder at 6:30 is awesome, could be 1990s vintage or so. I think these firetrucks can be added to America's iconic items - always dark red, lots of chrome, and with much more size than the vehicles we have over here! Cheers from Germany!

Sharp looking rigs. Glad to see MPO hooked up to hydrant and put a gated valve on second outlet. Good work lads

Good thing you got footage of where that car was parked that got hit, it was definitely a traffic obstruction, an should have been parked better an on the right side of the street. But with current politics, im sure the city will still have to pay for the damage an possibly a rip for the engine operater. Im sure it would b a big help you sending this to the Fire dept for review.

Traffic obstruction or not…backing up without a spotter and not paying attention. Completely the apparatus drivers fault.

I am at my computer some 30.000 miles away, so it's quite hard for me to figure out whose fault it was. But what I can say is: it couldn't happen to me, as I would leave plenty of room for those cars with blue lights & sirens!

City firemen are beasts at what they do but driving isn't their strength by a long shot

I don’t think the front bumper line on E45 is long enough. Guys going to the roof without SCBAs ….E16 backs into car , hooks to hydrant - road completely blocked now. Good thing they didn’t need another ladder truck to the front - both engine companies have street all jammed up 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@jimfitz1432 why would you drive over a charged supply line? If you want to jeopardize your guys interior go ahead but no one in Colorado does that. Very unsafe and especially in this case there was no real need for a second stick to the roof.

Good to see in “Colorado” you guys are cool with parking your million dollar truck down the block. Could of used the 2nd stick for any number of reasons beside the roof on this job. I’ve driven over 100’s of supply lines. Never lost the supply line. Not once…but hey you guys do you. Just admit your J.V. and take the loss. It’s what most “progressive” departments do like yours.

Genius you don't drive over a charged 5 inch line. I don't know what department you're with but whoever told or showed you that needs to go back through training. They emphasize that many times in training about NOT driving over charged lines.

@@jessebellanger9807 But WHERE is this fire, we don't need the address but how about the street? All I saw was smoke, was this a basement fire, or a fire in the rear so we could not see the flames because you were so far away. Was anyone hurt? What day was this fire, etc. We heard a car accident involving a fire truck, what happened afterwards. You were there, we weren't so how about providing some narrative about what happened that we didn't see or hear. May I suggest that you Watch some other videos from professional youtubers, and see how they present these types of videos and maybe that will provide some perspective for you.
And yes, your camera work could have been much better. Maybe you need to use a tripod, or get a camera with better features to help make the shot more stable. My neck hurts after watching this video. I feel like a bobblehead.
