That's news to me. While Indians rightly admire _some_ foreigners, it's a FAR FAR cry from treating them as heroes.
That's for Pakistanis to admire foreign stuff:
1. Foreign religion (Arabic)
2. Foreign prophet (Arab)
3. Foreign invader heroes (Ghazni, bin Qasim, Itutmish, etc., the list goes on...)
4. Foreign language (Urdu, from Delhi/Western UP)
5. Foreign leaders (every single COAS, and most civilian leaders, have dual passports and bags packed and ready, one leg always outside Pakistan)
6. Foreign money (USD/Yuan, etc. Pakistan's current financial problems started the moment foreign money donations from the US were stopped by Trump)
The list goes on and on. And none of that applies to India, in spite of your dreams...

Subcontinent has had its rich traditions and knowledge systems. We've our heroes. Probably they don't teach about Indian subcontinent's scientific acheivements, its dominance in world trade, the intellectual prowess and contributions to science, technology and philosophy among others.
