      With just a hand full of his own players he had the best first season of any United manager in the clubs history. Give him a season of fit players and add some more quality and Ten Hag will surprise everyone apart from the people that actually know how good he is.

    • @jr-shotsadeogun7029
      @jr-shotsadeogun7029 Před 27 dny +2

      @@Tdoggg he had most of his players this season and still finished 8th because he needed a LB and a LCB to fully fit. He constantly played out of form players over players that are proving to be better. He’s a good coach but he’s overrated -IMO. Ange has Spurs playing well despite their defeats. Whereas, we haven’t played well for 90% of the season with or without our fit players.

    Cool analysis. Any reason why Utd aren't interested in J.Klopp ? He knows the league, the club, europe. Has won the league, the cups, the UCL and speaks english fluently. He is working in the UK so getting a work permit should be easy and looks good in red.

      Does ten Hag get involved in the transfer negotiations? Cause you make it sound like he personally agreed with the prices of those players. The structure above the manager has been abysmal since David Gill and Sir Alex left the club 11 years ago. Overpaying for players was never the manager’s fault when every manager has had the list of who they want ready by the end of the season. Since the days of Mourinho, Man United has faffed around with the transfer window and ends up paying 20-30 million pounds more than the value of a player because they tried to save 5 million pounds trying to sign them at the beginning of the window. Look at Antony, he was available for 40 million at the beginning of the transfer window. No manager has gotten every single player they have asked for in a transfer window and always end up with the second, third and sometimes fourth choice pick in what tends to be the most crucial positions, i.e. Signing Casemiro at 30 for 70 million pounds when ten Hag wanted De Jong. Rabiot and Arnautovic would have been Man United players instead of him if it weren’t for the massive uproar that caused in the fans. Ten Hag has not yet proven to be Manchester United’s biggest problem when there was Richard Arnold, John Murtough and Darren Fletcher above him running around like headless fools and getting played by every single team they try to sign a player from. There are still players in that team who Mourinho wanted to sell. If you want to blame ten Hag for this season it’s unfortunate to say that your judgement is terribly flawed.

    Garnacho is a young talent but he shouldn't be starting every game like he did this season. His main role is to learn and then be ready. Sadly he was forced to because we didn't have the right players. We should sell rashford then buy a better left winger with garnacho being the backup.

    One thing is for sure - Ashford has to go. I know he squared it for Hojlund, that was a nice change but why does it take two youngsters, Amad & Garnacho to show him that this is the way top wingers should be playing. He knew that if he came on and went for goal he'd be ripped into but as soon as he starts another game he'll go right back to type.
    Sell him whilst his value is high - but I'll caveat this by saying, only if a PSG or Bayern want to put in an 80/90m bid. Sell him, but for the right price.
