Thank you so much. I didn't have a proper bike fit, and get knee pain a lot. I also banged my right knee, the inner portion on the left side of the knee, right beneath the patella, and it's been hurting a lot. The pain has decreased considerably over the weeks, but it has not gone away completely. Squatting for a long time hurts. Also stretching that foot in different directions gives me a jolt of pain I don't get from the other knee. I hope it gets better soon, I travel everywhere by bike.
😢
@Three_cheers_for_Onyx, sorry to hear about your knee pain. Glad it's getting better! Be sure to get a proper bike fit and avoid movements that hurt. If the pain sticks around, see a healthcare pro. Hope you feel better soon and can enjoy biking again! Take care!

Hey Abdul! I'm sorry to hear that you're still experiencing pain. If your knees hurt a lot after the exercises, I encourage you to back off. Maybe start with the bare minimum. However, I have a great resource that might help you. Please check this link www.feelgoodlife.com/knee-pain-location-chart/ Let me know if you need more help.

For every video out there that supposedly has a solution the different moves from different people did not give me the relief that I have with my legs. The one you just mentioned about extending your left leg out because that’s basically where my problem is in the left thigh, so I started to do that, and I am so impressed because I have pain on the inside of my thigh, and even though my left knee is going in for a knee replacement the end of January I need to find some relief in the muscles because I’m not finding any and then to learn that I don’t have sciatica, what I have is a tight glute and that’s why the pain is unbearable on my right leg on the outside on the right side of my hip all the way down to my knee.
I'm sorry to hear about your challenges, @wendym31463. But I'm glad the leg extension exercise is bringing you some relief.

I don't have knee pain
Just awareness when I lunge when that leg is back. Anything that causes my knee to travel too far over my ankle. When I did the first exercise, when I brought my leg down, I could hear a small pop(nothing painful) like the tendon rubbing. I can do deep squats almost touching glutes to floor and pistol squats although that side is weaker. Not weights, just body resistant strengthing and yoga. I might have overstretched doing a wall split since it happened soon after😮
Hi, @oteliafaithrobertson3005! Since you're already into bodyweight exercises and yoga, focusing on stability and balance exercises might help. Just be careful not to overstretch. If the discomfort continues, it's a good idea to chat with a healthcare pro for personalized advice. Take care and keep listening to your body!

Quick question why does the inside of it hurt and not the whole thing? In other words what makes only the inside part hurt?
Hey, @La_jefecitaa! Pain on the inside part of the knee can be attributed to various factors such as past injuries, arthritis, tears in the knee's cartilage, inflammation... etc.
Let me share with you a great resource. Please check out this link: www.feelgoodlife.com/knee-pain-location-chart

Hello sir, I experienced severe inner knee pain after cycling at the gym. My right knee hurts when I walk on flat ground, sit bending my knees and walking up and down the stairs. It got worse after 3 days and I am still in pain after taking panadol and my doctor appointments is scheduled next week. Do you have any advice for me at the moment apart from doing the exercises in the video? Thanks a bunch!
I'm sorry to hear about your knee, @kathywong1463 Since we aren't able to do a physical exam and see exactly what is going on with your knee, I can't for sure recommend what exercises you should do. However, what I can advise you to do in the meantime is give your knee time to heal. Avoid activities that exacerbate the pain, especially those that involve bending or putting weight on your knee. You can also apply ice to your knee for 15-20 minutes several times a day to help reduce inflammation and numb the area. Make sure to wrap the ice pack in a cloth to protect your skin. Elevate your leg when sitting or lying down to reduce swelling. Consider using a compression bandage or knee brace to provide support and reduce swelling. Ensure it's not too tight, as this can cause additional discomfort. Avoid high-impact activities as well.
While waiting for your doctor's appointment, you can perform gentle range of motion exercises as shown in the video to maintain mobility and prevent stiffness. However, if these exercises worsen your pain, stop immediately.
Remember that this advice is not a substitute for professional medical evaluation and guidance. Your doctor will be able to provide the most accurate diagnosis and recommend appropriate treatments based on your individual situation. If your pain worsens or if you notice any signs of infection or further complications (such as redness, warmth, or fever), seek medical attention promptly.

Mine pain is on the outside of my knee (same position, just outside). Do you think these stretches will still help? I suspect it’s runners knee, as it has slowly come about over the last 2 weeks. I’ll probably still do these as I take a break from running.
Hi, Benjamn85. It makes me sad to know that you're experiencing pain outside your knee but since we aren't able to do a physical exam and see exactly what is going on with your knee, I can't for sure recommend what exercises you should do.
If your knees hurt a lot after the exercises, I encourage you to back off. Maybe start with the bare minimum. Obviously, I don't know your specific condition so it's hard to recommend specifics but in general, I normally encourage people to ease into the exercises gradually if they experience pain with the program.

@@FeelGoodLife Thanks, I stopped running for the last 2 days and it has been feeling better. I went for a walk yesterday with no issues. I am going to keep up with these stretches you showed. Thanks for the advice.
You're welcome, @benjamn8557! I'm glad to hear that taking a break from running and going for a walk has helped you feel better. Remember, it's essential to listen to your body and give it the rest it needs when experiencing discomfort or pain. Continue incorporating those stretches into your routine, as they can be beneficial for maintaining flexibility and preventing future issues.
When you feel ready to start running again, ease back into it gradually and pay attention to any signals from your body. If you experience any discomfort, consider reducing the intensity or duration of your runs or consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
Stay consistent with your stretches, maintain a balanced exercise routine, and don't forget to warm up before any physical activity. Enjoy your walks and runs, and most importantly, take care of yourself! If you have any more questions or need further advice in the future, feel free to reach out. Happy exercising!☺

No pain just slight clicking/grind when I extend knee will these help get rid of clicking
Hi, @1smae100! Slight clicking or grinding sensations in the knee joint when extending the knee can be caused by a variety of factors. Clicking or grinding can sometimes be related to the way the patella (kneecap) moves within the groove of the femur. Strengthening exercises that improve the muscles around the knee can help improve patellar tracking and reduce these sensations. It can also be related to wear and tear on the cartilage within the knee joint. Exercises may help reduce symptoms, but they won't regrow cartilage. There may be structural factors within the knee joint that contribute to the clicking. Exercises can be part of a treatment plan but may not completely resolve structural issues.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you, @Julianapresley. Experiencing such severe pain when standing or walking is concerning, and it's important not to dismiss it as just a growth spurt. I would suggest that you seek medical attention promptly.
Try to avoid putting unnecessary strain on your knee. Continue to rest, elevate, and ice your knee as mentioned earlier. If the pain is severe and you're having difficulty walking, consider using crutches or a brace to support your knee and prevent further injury.
