I was a little uncomfortable initially because it seemed like they were only bringing you on to seem inclusive and capitalize on BLM. I wanted the show to stay whimsical and fun but I think my perspective changed when you all were at Luanne’s house. There was a clear distinction in how they responded to Leah and you. I then understood how Important your role in the show is. It’s reality. I experience the same thing at work. The white people can act a damn fool all the time but the minute I’m passionate about something I’m looked at like “the angry black man”. Thank you for standing firm in everything you do ❤️

I didn’t know who she was and I watched the whole interview, she’s smart and very entertaining.
My Dad said, “ sometimes we parent out of guilt “. My dad refused to marry when we were kids because he said he never wanted to choose between someone and his kids. He made a great sacrifice for us, one that our mother did not make. My Dad has no idea how I will always have the greatest love and respect for him.
My mom is the same. She always said she would never put a man above us.
I’m a single mother and I wholeheartedly agree.
I have done the samething and my kids at 25 and 20 are now trying to push me out there. My kids were always going to come first and a man was also not coming in and out of my house.

I LOVE this woman!!! When I was younger, I allowed myself to get offended a lot, take things personal, and self-sabotaged many opportunities because of delivery, ego, insecurities, etc. I was modeling what was in my home. Once I decided to take Psychology in 11th grade, it opened a whole new world which opened my mind and I kept taking classes into college and reading books, newsletters, then watching what I could here and there. When you get out of your comfort zone and then picture yourself in everything you read, then picture your mom for example and use the knowledge you're learning to analyze and honestly look at yourself and others close to you... you CAN, if you push through begin to see things about yourself that you can change.... learn how to set boundaries with ppl... accept that you yourself controll how you react to others... and what truly matters, moves you forward so you benefit, learn to let things go making you the strongest person, etc. YOU ALSO LEARN TO LISTEN ALL THE WAY TO PPL AND STOP MAKING IT ABOUT YOURSELF ALL THE TIME. WE WASTE SO MUCH ENERGY BLAMING OUR TAKING THINGS PERSONAL, YET GAIN NOTHING FROM BEING OFFENDED. I'm able to live and listen to Ebony because I worked on myself and I continue to grow. Obviously that's what she is doing everyday which is why she can say the things she does. She's a gift to us.

Her response to her ex fiancé’s situation clearly went over some of your heads or you didn’t bother to comprehend. Like she said your children have no place trying to run your household . Half of y’all stay beefed out with your spouse’s family and stay in that bubble of confusion. The 13 year old, like she said, that’s different. If you were an adult on your own not living with your parents pre-quarantine, you did not move back just to sit in with them. She even hinted to friction amongst her and his adult children. Everything is not always black and white. If you are willing to leave your spouse to be anywhere else with other adults during a pandemic, your LIFE partner- you don’t need to be married.
Children have a place in the household and they come after the parents. Grown or minor they are not the superior in the household. Children should have an opinion but it should not be the final word.
But he went to quarantine with the kids during Covid.....so he has to leave his kids during covid for her???
