- En 2012, la mezzo letona Elina Garanca regresaba a Coruña para protagonizar uno de los conciertoss de Amigos de la Ópera en el que interpretó arias de óperas y hasta una canción en gallego. Karel Mark Chichon dirigió la Sinfónica de Galicia.

Shaving off the pitch of some notes at the beginning prevents it becoming the perfection that allows me to sink into it completely but compared with many other Singers of name, especially the end of the aria, is one of the best vocal deliveries I have ever heard. Pure delight.
