Fun fact: my late father sang this in concert as a second tenor at the old Metrpolitan Opera House on 39th St. In NYC.....and, he stood in the exact same spot where Enrico Caruso stood! Fancy that....two great tenors....my dad and Caruso!

Hermoso suenan la verdad!! Ojalá puedan hacer una representación de la ópera con escena porque es una experiencia inolvidable. Soy parte del Grupo de Artistas Alternativos de la ciudad de La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Diminutivo GAEA, nosotros con muy poco hicimos Cavalleria Rusticana y salió muy bien. Les deseo lo mejor si llegasen a querer llevarla a la escena.

I’ve just discovered this version of my favourite piece of music and am absolutely thrilled by it! I though that i’seen all versions
of Cavalleria rusticana but how wrong i was! This is magnificent; great orchestra, great conductor, magnificent choir and the soprano; wow!!!
I fully agree apart from that the soprano should have been elsewhere!!

I sang this as a chorus member in a production of Cavallaria Rusticana back in the early 80s. Loved it then, love it now.

La suerte no es un don Divino...es resultado del trabajo, del esfuerzo y del talento...fecundidad del ser humano en pos de la cultura...herencia que no se debe desaprovechar...semilla que seguramente florecera...Dios lo quiera...No todo esta perdido...

Great performance - the chorus didn't drop pitch at all in the first section and were spot on when the orchestra came in (not guaranteed I can assure you!). The dynamics were scrupulously observed and the whole thing was a great example of just how Mascagni's youthful masterpiece should be sung.
