One more difference in case anyone hasn't noticed: Wario's sprite in the GB version has a gray outline around him to make him properly visible in dark places. The GBC version slightly redesigns the sprite so the outline is no longer needed.

Thank you for the video! Played on a real DMG the monochrome graphics are very confusing, graphics are too rich and it's difficult to distinguish the enemies from the backgrounds, like in Donkey Kong land 1.
The GBC version is really the one worth playing.

It's maybe weird to say that but I prefer the Super Gameboy's colours over the GBC's.

So would you recommend a different version over the other or are the differences too minimal to make a difference? This is sort of a Link's Awakening vs Link's Awakening DX situation 🤣

Link's Awakening DX had a new dungeon but it's roughly the same like Wario Land II.
