    What has the Church hidden from you? Do you know the Truth or just what you have been told? Do you want the rest of the story? Can you handle it? Was Yeshua (Jesus) a Christian? Was He a Pharisaical Jew who died for our sins? Or was He teaching something radical and different than mainstream Judaism of his day taught, something different than Mainstream Christianity today? Something that got Him killed and His message hidden after His ascension? Is the Truth still out there, buried in long-forgotten books and vague historical references by the very men that wiped out the original faith and message once delivered to the saints? I invite you to join me as I search out the original Faith of the Yeshua and the 12 Apostles.

    Thank you so much, David! This book is an anawer to prayer for me! I have hoped and prayed for something like this for such a long time and I can't wait to read it! David, if you receive enough requests to make the book into print on demand format and it is worth your time and effort, I would love to have a printed book, too, and I would most definitely order one or more. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart, David! I am so touched by your kindness and generosity of spirit. ❤

      I'm working on setting it up as something that can be sold as print-on-demand from Amazon. Unfortunately, I have to ditch the red-letters for Yeshua's words because it would be too expensive for the color printing. But... It looks like I'll be able to price them for under $20.

    What's your source for Matthew 5:28.1 and 28 starting with 'for...'?
    Your 6:18.1 I have at 24.1. Any reason for having it earlier? I'm just trying to harmonize my JWO with yours to get to the best version, which is why I ask.
    Your 10:38 is my 11:27.1. I guess it sounds better there?
    Luke 19:1-10 - how did you decide to put that in to Matthew 20?
    Matthew 21:31.1-13.2 - how did you decide to put these here? 13.1 in JWO wasn't really assigned anywhere and kind of fell to the instructions with the apostles in chapter 28.

    • @DavidHNotsari
      @DavidHNotsari  Před 2 měsíci

      For 6:18.1: because the discussion is about fasting and pleasing the world (ie being seen by men). I believe it fit the context of 16-18, don't just fast from food, fast from the world itself.
      For 10:38, the similar vocabulary in the Greek Matthew. vs 37-38 mention being "not worthy" 3 times, 38.1 creates a contrast with those whom He finds "most worthy," mentioned twice.
      Luke 18:35-43, approaching Jericho He heals a blind man, immediately afterwards they enter Jericho and there's the Zacchaeus episode: Matthew 20:29-43 two blind men (Matthew seems to prefer pairs for some reason) healed outside of Jericho, following the Chronology of Luke, the story of Zacchaeus should be the next event. James Edwards identifies Luke 19-10 as likely having a Hebrew source, and Peter mentions it in the NazActs, which told me it was in the GOTH, plus it provided a nice segue into the story of the 2nd rich man which was quoted by Origen.
      Matthew 21:12-13.2: Demanded the warning regarding continuing to sacrifice. We have two witnesses (Jerome and Petrus De Riga) who say that Yeshua's eyes were glowing when he was cleansing the Temple. In the Greek gospels it is the one time that we see Yeshua seem to get legit angry about something. He is driving out people who are selling animals for sacrifice... I can't imagine a more appropriate location for vs 13.1. 13.2 was pulled from Mark 1:16 because I needed a transition to the next verse and it fit nicely.

    In the Sermons of Peter and the Nazarene Acts, I'm comparing them to the versions online, and in a number of places, either "God" or "the Lord" are replaced with YHWH. Do you have a source for that as to why you chose certain ones to replace? For example, Sermons of Peter 15.11, 'beginning with God himself' in the original, is replaced with 'beginning with YHWH himself.'

    • @DavidHNotsari
      @DavidHNotsari  Před 18 dny

      If it was quoting a verse from the OT that originally contained YHWH, I changed it to YHWH. If there was a line where it said "God" but I thought God's name was a better fit there I inserted it.

    What is your opinion on the Ebionites or The Poor who’s documents were found in the Dead Sea scrolls? And James the Just being the lead of the Church in Jerusalem?

    • @DavidHNotsari
      @DavidHNotsari  Před 2 měsíci

      I believe the Ebionites were the Jerusalem Assembly, and after the flight to Pella in or around 68 AD their descendants continued to live in that area under the leadership of the members of Yeshua's family.
      I made several videos on the DSS a few years back, I do think some of the scrolls were written by Ebionites. A couple of the videos are below, but I have more on my channel.

    Excellent contribution !
    My only observation would be to differentiate ‘disciples’ of Yeshua from the ‘apostles’ that Satan said he would send to deceive mankind (CH 11:35)
    Christianity post 300ad has muddled these terms when to the original elect they were apostates preaching a gospel not approved by James

  • @JRJohnson1701

    Amazing I found this...I'm working on almost exactly the same thing! (Well, I don't have the Clementine Homilies/Recognitions) My process is: red text for words of Jesus, blue text for words of YHWH, and green text words of angels, replace small caps "The Lord" with YHWH, and correct the Masoretic text from the Septuagint where I can compare the two and see the Septuagint is more correct/sensible (i.e. Genesis 5/11 chronology, Exodus 12:40 added 'and Canaan', and so on), kept the Apocrypha plus Psalms 151-160 and Enoch; then used the Hebrew versions of the Gospels, James, Jude, Revelation, and watched through a number of JWO's epistle correction videos to get closer to the original text. If you don't mind, may I send you my work to see if we're working to the same goal?

    Sermons of Peter 11:35, I see 'Church of the Hebrews in Jerusalem' but your copy removes 'of the Hebrews' - is there another text tradition without that phrase?

      That's weird, I don't remember removing it, don't know why I would have.

      @@DavidHNotsari I apologize for the barrage of questions; I'm comparing to the online version so I can put the Nazarene Acts into my own Bible for my church. In NazActs Book 3, Chapter 60, there's a section different from the Clementine Recognitions on the Catholic site. Theirs has 'and fighting against himself, he shall be destroyed." while yours has "fighting against his own matters from the Principality that he turned away, he will be expelled by it, because he has come to his limits of majesty in order to attack the just who have learned that ‘the good tree yields good fruit and the bad tree bad fruit;’ those who possess the ability to learn discernment ahead of time. Also, in the Ninth Pairing the evil one will come in the matters of the good and in the Tenth Pairing, he will perform beautiful marvels so that if it were possible he should deceive the elect." Is there another text tradition with that in it? Thanks!

    • @JRJohnson1701
      @JRJohnson1701 Před 3 dny

      @@DavidHNotsari In Book 1, Chapter 51, Nazarene Acts, your chapter appears to be different from that found elsewhere online. I don't see where this paragraph came from:
      “Thereupon justice shall be requited those who have worked iniquity, as they deserve. In this way they even thought that the lives provided for them were something small, and they transformed it to wickedness and did not refrain from making the cause of justice into a means for lawlessness.
      Can you say which text tradition has this text? Thank you!

    • @DavidHNotsari
      @DavidHNotsari  Před 2 dny

      @JRJohnson1701 The section in Book 3 Chapter 60 and Book 1 chapter 51 come from the Syriac. The version you're reading online is probably from the Latin.

    At about the 12:09 mark , the yellowed portion about the three philosophies , you've got a typo brother , you've got Essens instead of Essenes , trust me , I'm pointing it out to help , not to mock you or to be negative towards you , in fact , I'd love to have a copy of this work

    • @DavidHNotsari
      @DavidHNotsari  Před 2 měsíci +3

      The text with the yellow wasn't what I wrote, it was the works of Josephus that I downloaded from somewhere. It has archaic spelling in it, so a lot of stuff is misspelled in it. And there's a link in the description to download the book.
