  • Michael Meade tells the Blackfoot story of "The Orphan Boy and the Elk Dog.” It tells of the initiation of Long Arrow, who was born a deaf orphan boy living on the fringes until the day he met a kindly chief named Good Running, who tells him of a spirit people who live at the bottom of a faraway lake, and a herd of elk dogs...

Incredible, like Nature Boy, god I danced and danced and became the clear waves of the sea and
I held a young beautiful Deer like creature, again and again we came back to those waves. This morning in a dream-- Thank you, Thank you

Required Listening...should have 7.8 billion views. I say views because the narrator takes us beyond simple repetition of words into a spiritual journey. The narration spins wonderful insight and detail making this audio a shaman led journey into the human spirit. It is like a mushroom induced visual journey. It is a timeless story wonderfully told. Amazing. This story is for young and old. Then thousands of years ago, and now, and in a thousand years. It is immortal.
