In Structural Family Therapy, family mapping is a technique that has changed the way I do family therapy. In fact, structural family systems in general has really upped my game and the mapping techniques that have come from Salvador Minuchin and this body of work have given family therapists and myself an amazing tool to help guide their family therapy sessions.
