- Queen - Hammer to Fall HD (Live At Wembley 86)
Live at Wembley '86 is a double live album by English rock band Queen.
It was recorded live on Saturday July 12, 1986 during the Magic Tour at Wembley Stadium in London, England and released on May 26, 1992. A companion DVD was released in June 2003.
The album was remastered and re-released with bonus tracks in August 2003 in the US as Live at Wembley Stadium after the companion DVD. This name has also been used on subsequent releases elsewhere, although they lack the bonus tracks included with the US version.
A remastered special edition DVD was released on September 5, 2011 in the UK (what would have been Freddie Mercury's 65th birthday), and for the first time included the Friday evening concert in addition to the Saturday night show. Snippets of the Friday show were included on earlier DVDs, but the remastered release marked the first time that the concert has been presented in full. A Deluxe Edition also included the Saturday concert in remastered CD form.
During the introduction to "Who Wants to Live Forever," Freddie addressed the rumours at the time of a Queen breakup by pointing to his posterior and saying, "They're talking from here!," which got quite a response from the audience. During the speech, Freddie making what was, prior to the Queen+ collaborations, a prophetic comment: "So forget those rumours, we're gonna stay together until we fucking well die, I'm sure of it." - Hudba
Freddie always on his game in concert. Mercury ruled his stage & audience with respect and class.
Wow!! What a performance! Freddie leads the way!!! They were having such great fun!!!
To me this is the best rock video ever made. Brian is simply on fire. The sequence between the end of the singing and the end of the song is one of the most magical pieces of guitar work and band interaction EVER. What a joy!
Best band ever, Freddie Mercury best showman ever.
Real pure rock, only Queen can perform perfect rock.
One of the best songs of the concert. Love this song.

Thank you - this is rock`n roll!
If you've got Freddie Mercury as your frontman, it doesn't really matter what the rest of the band are looking like.
To answer your question, and honestly agreeing with the rest of your post by the way: the other guitarist is Spike Edney, the touring keyboardist. (I like how they managed all the music with just five people; the tribute concert had something like _ten_ people behind the surviving members of Queen at times.) Pretty rare that a non-member gets center stage time with a big band, but that's Queen for you.
Oh he knew what the fans wanted
i am from brazil I like very.
sends shivers down my spine....! :-)
not a huge queen fan but this is damn good
0:38 50m long and 18m high stage, 180 speakers, 500 000 wats, 15 cameras + helicopter........................Queen
Two people have absolutely no clue !
Oh, I'd like to see a "Live in Windsor" version of this song…
Oh come on. you have Brian May and Roger Taylor and a secret hit maker (John Deacon) in the band (Seriously most of the songs he's credited for are hits). It wasn't just Freddie. the Whole Band was amazing. We should be grateful they all met up and became the hugest band ever.
Who is the other guitarist with Brian May? What does Freddy say at the very end of the song? Freddie is the gifted composer and consumate performer. Brian May a true virtuoso of the electric guitar. Roger Taylor is the best orthodontist / Drummer on Earth but to me, bassist John Deacon was always the 'secret weapon' of Queen.
A Gibson Les Paul Junior, I believe
Spike Edney.
Guess Spike Edney
Spike Edney
what kind of guitar does spike have?
whos the second guitarist?
A gibson les paul junior, I believe.
Queen is the only band that can a bassist in girly yellow shorts and get away with it...
Queen is the only band that can get away with having a bassist with yellow f*cking shorts...
