Bill Haley, the grandfather of rock n roll. A true legend. Love the sax soloing. The style and sound is so old school, so 1950s. Yes I know it was a song from the '50s so it makes sense but this was from the late '70s this performance and it's good to hear old school stuff still being played during that era and today.
Actually Bill Haley continued to have STRONG following through out the sixties and seventies. In fact for a time he was a top selling artist in Mexico for a number of years and brought the Twist to that area of the world. His instrumental hit the "Florida Twist" became a top seller in Mexico. No doubt Haley had personal/ Management issues, however his contribution to Rock and Roll music has significantly enhanced since his death especially as it relates to the ERA between '50-'54 when he introduced the earliest form of Rock music known as Rockabilly. Its well documented, unfortunately far to late.
Freddie Moore's real last name was "Fusting". He was never married to Demi Moore..and this drummer here is Wayne Stevens. Freddie heard that Demi Moore rumor and was quite amused by it!
