Tears: my best friend and I used to harmonize on this every morning on the way to our teaching jobs, way back in Fr. Worth, in 1967-68. What a jewel he was!
I stood over Fats's piano in a small W. Washington town in about 1961. Still one of the highlights of my life and interest in music. His manager, whom I met earlier, introduced me as Fats changed his suede suit at intermission. diamond stickpin and multiple rings. Fantastic showman and a nice guy, too.
I was 6 years old when my parents would listen to this great music on the radio. What wonderful songs to grow up with! Thanks to all those very talented singers & musicians.
My daddy was a collector of music. I grew up listening to everything from Glenn Miller on up. He taught me to appreciate all genres of music. For that I am truly grateful. I have tried to pass that on to my own children. children.

I am 67yrs old and I remember, Fats Domino, Johnny Ray, The Browns and so many more. I still remember the songs word for word but forget what I was doing 10 minutes ago. Good music and songs that tell stories. A lot of non talent these days. I think people that talk music, (RAP ) actually can't hold a note or are tone deaf.
