Miao Hmong Men & Women Elders Talk and Sing during Chinese New Year 2024

  • As I explored more and ventured deeper into the Miao Hmong Village, I heard these elderly Men and Women talking and singing. So I decided to stop in to watch and listen.
    Listening to their conversations sounded very familiar and I could almost understand them but yet I couldn't. We asked them if they were Hmong and they confirmed they were. However, they said they're aware of the huge differences that the Hmong language has changed in the Hmong minority depending on where they're from such as village, province, or different parts of the world.

    This is how I imagine Hmong would sound like if I weren't Hmong and didn't understood it, lol.
