Hey bro great video!, i have the Yamaha RX-A3060, almost the same setup but only amp to 'main', no additional zones, I also have the 'one connect box' for my Samsung and the 4K firestick. I watched Part 1 to Part 4 to be sure i was right on my connections and all the setups, excellent guide and info, thx.

I connected my Yamaha sub trigger wires to the 12v trigger outputs....A lot has changed in the home theatre market since this video was made, But it explains the basics very well..Well done!

Among F&D T400X and T60X which is better in bass and clarity? Is there any model of F&D speaker System having Dolby sarround sound or any update on the upcoming model having Dolby sarround sound?

I wish you woud live close by me. You are right, the ARC has been a total pain, I got the surround speakers to work except the sub. I am going to do what you said: delete ARC or not use it and see what do I get. Thank you for such an educational video. I am going to look up how to connect an amp to my AV receiver. I hope you have a video as good as this on the topic I need.

This is a great video. We're cutting the cord, so actually doing away with the TiVo / cable box. In this case we're using an LG smart TV, connected to our home network via wifi and streaming CZcams TV, HBO, Pandora, etc. So, my question is, how to connect the TV to the AVR so we can get full sound and send that sound to multiple zones.

So i just got an older 5.1 surround system. (ADCOM GTP-830 processor and GFA-7400 power amp) I have no previous experience with high end speaker systems. The processor doesn't have Hdmi or anything special for the video side. It does however have digital audio input (optical). So i would like to connect it to my Home theater Pc's optical output and then have the pc run video straight to the Tv without going through the processor unit.

Can you tell me if I have a part of my Onkyo AVX HT R560 receiver shot? We came home from a vacation during which there was a power outage. Some of the settings were not as they were when we left but upon returning I could get no sound from the receiver in TV/CABLE mode. DVD and FM radio comes through. DVD is connected by Component cables and the TV/cable and Roku stick with HDMI. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Great Video, very informative. I do ever find out if the analog channel 1 and hdmi channel 1 cancel each other out, or are they seperate channels?

Where can I find the videos of you making the wires your using on here. I’m new to stereo equipment and I have a Pioneer 9.2 channel SC-1522-K AV Receiver and I just got it but it was used on eBay and it is flashing UE22 and I think it’s done working but I couldn’t get the system hooked up right I guess because it wouldn’t let me calibrate my speakers so if you have any tips for me on anything I would greatly appreciate the help

Banana plugs are the way to go. Otherwise you have a mess of speaker wires.
