I feel like people do not properly research the macroeconomics and societal level issues when deciding to live/ study abroad. They are just looking at glossy brochures or instagram or youtube.
There are a number of student immigration ponzi schemes going on that is rampant in the UK, US, Canada and Australia, to name a few.
This is how one goes:
1. Universities are ranked on the quality of their research
2. In order to maintain a high ranking, they need to pour money into research.
3. International students pay much higher fees than locals, so number of international schemes are being increased.
4. The universities gain the benefits of these higher numbers, but not the downsides (infrastructure pressures on housing, transport, healthcare due to the additional numbers). Note that many university-owned accommodations were sold during the pandemic.
5. The local population and councils bear the burden of the increase in population, but not the benefits. Students see the high costs of accommodation, but to not realise they are part of the problem. Similarly difficulty getting sponsorship because so many others are applying at the same time.
6. Universities don't care what happens to you after you finish paying fees. They might lure you with the dream of sponsorship or PR, but it's not up to them (similarly with migration agents).
I recommend researching properly around availability jobs, accommodation cost, economic forecasts etc, via local news media, not youtube. For all of those saying "you'll find sponsorship eventually", don't offer false platitudes. Maybe she will, but at what cost? How low will the salary be? What will the working conditions be?
Note that there are many employers who exploit those seeking sponsorship, knowing how important the job is to their ability to remain in the country. I have seen this happening repeatedly in Australia (where I live now).
It's a similar story for those coming on working visas. They are advertised jobs and this great life, but the reality is different (particularly with regards to accommodation). Sydney is now one of the most expensive places in the world to live.. but I note that London rent is about double Sydney's.

Good video. First time getting some info from the Biological sector. What about universities from outside of London like Nottingham city or Bristol? Is getting a job after a master's in the Veterinary sector or Science sector difficult? I have experience in my country.
Ok.. you can get pr bases on your qualifications. It's called industrial pharmacist. Chance are not very high...you can try. Analytical chemist very high demand in Australia. Bachelor degree must be required in bsc in chemistry. You can try as a industrial pharmacist. You can get 491 it's 5 year visa conveted to pr after 3 years.
For that your skill need to be assessed through vet assessments need ateast 6 band in pte/ IELTS if you have 7 each you can get more points.
