I like bananas. Recently I saw this "Researchers have found that the enzyme polyphenol oxidase (PPO) in certain fruits like bananas can reduce the absorption of heart-healthy flavanols, especially when combined with flavanol-rich ingredients like berries. The study suggests choosing ingredients with low PPO activity, such as pineapple or oranges, when making smoothies to optimize flavanol absorption." So, I don't mix them with berries now when I'm looking for the healthiest version of my smoothies.

Thanks for all the tips! I love my nama J2 juicer but I haven difficulty cleaning this part of it.. seems like food is stuck .. I was wondering if you had any tips? The brush doesn’t seem to go up there thanks!
I just realized it won’t let me insert my picture but it’s the tower looking piece between where the juice comes out on one end and where the compost pile comes out the other end ( hope that makes sense
