- 2599 was new to Ulsterbus in 1983 and was withdrawn in 2004 and has been in preservation ever since. It returned home last week from England for a few days and was visiting its old haunts around Northern Ireland. Sunday July 23rd saw an outing where it and preserved Plaxton Primo 4 ran some of their old routes and returned to their previous depot of Coleraine. 2599 had been photographed alongside the newer and more modern 2599 in the form of a GB Wright Hawk which makes that 39 years between the two. Plaxton Primo 4 was also brought to the Gaints Causeway on its old route number 477. Hopefully you enjoy this one, I can't see how you couldn't, can't beat the roar of a Bristol 😉.
Apologies if the video quality doesn't look as good as it usually does, it was just the way the lighting was onboard. Apologies also for the shakey camera work, the suspension really didn't help! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Nice one! Saw that in Belfast when I was up on the 19th.
Cheers. It's what you call a proper bus!
@@BusesInDublin yeah true. I still have yet to put up a few of my Bristol RE videos from the citybus50
