About Dome Keeper:

At the start of these videos, I like to imagine what the explanation bit is actually like without the cuts. "We put the iron in the grinder" ... utter silence for 20 seconds ... "meanwhile we go back down to mine some more." Cracks me up every time.
Like in movies when one character is explaining something to another, they take like a half hour car ride, then get out and carry on as if its been five seconds since the last sentence.

Condenser is actually pretty good. When you get the upgrade for auto-overcharge, you can overcharge your domes secondary ability (shield, gas, etc..) automatically every round. helps out a lot.

You also need need a cave on each side of the shaft

What Matt called a robot that was picking up resources reminded me of an octopus. Nick is referring to the pet that Matt called a penguin near the start of the video.
It could be a kiwi. I don’t think it’s a penguin, or at least how I picture one. If you go to 8:51 in the video the bird is in a different place and appears to be standing. I always think of a penguin with a elongated body instead of a more spherical one. But what do I know, I’m a Canadian. If it’s not a loon then I don’t know what it is. (The loon is on our $1 coin, named the loonie for some unknown reason. :) )

Condenser is the best gadget for the Shield, you can sacrifice 10 water to make it always overcharge your Shield for free at the cost of pretty much never producing water ever again

Why is it when I’m watching a RCE video that I turn into a 13 year-old who giggles whenever Matt says anything that could be vaguely dirty? Not complaining…it’s why I love watching!

ive said this in every video, the deeper you make the tunnel the longer it takes for the elevator to send resources up, dont make the elevator "shaft"any deeper than you need, it literally just slows you down

In the off chance you play this again in the future you should start strip mining in a H pattern since you can see resources in a diagonal block.
You need to mine down four, then 3 across in one direction and on the 3rd block mine up and down one before continuing across till you hit a wall and then repeat on the other side till you hit the second wall.
So it would be like Down Down Down Down, Right Right Right Up Down, Right Right Right Up Down, Right Right Right up down

You literally can't max it out. You can upgrade it indefinitely, but it costs more each time.

Watching him play this game is painful. Every time the meter is about out and enemies are on the way, I honestly expect him to decide to make a "quick trip" down to gather more resources. I'm surprised he doesn't play Minecraft. He cares more about trying to find resources than defending his base. It's funny, but painful. No situational awareness. lol
