There is only one Kevin Costner, decades of being the great actor he is. NO One will fill his shoes, a sad ending for this show. Kevin Costner will take many fans with him, the cast of Yellowstone is great, and one can only hope for all of them they can make this fly.
Kevin pleeeze take the reins and write a finale for Yellowstone. You might have to do 1 or 3 episodes to season 5 part 2 but I know you can do it. Hopefully you don't have a non-compete cause in your yellowstone contract. Put that nail in Taylor's coffin once and for all.!!! Use your right and take him to court!~! You're fans are behind you.
I never watched Yellowstone because it had Costner in it. He's just a Hollywood meat puppet that is as arrogant as any! He creates problems every set he is on and I think if you don't like what you're doing, plan your demise exit and be gone. It is not like he is the series. The story is the series...
If Kevin Kostner does another series I’m sure he’ll be taking a number of people from this series with. It so unfortunate at he was forced to leave when they could have worked around his schedule for the movie he’s doing

This is all BullShit , Sheridan had plenty of time before the writers strike to have these final episodes in the can. He dropped the ball.

dezford5408 - I’ve read on other Internet Entertainment sites that it was Paramount’s decision to split Season 5. That’s one of the MAJOR issues that Costner had with the filming schedule, because he already had plans to start filming “Horizon” and would be almost impossible to come back and film Season 5-Pt. 2.

I watched Yellowstone every single day. I’ve seen it 10 times I love the acting and most of all the scenery. I don’t know what it is. I start watching another channel and I always go back to Yellowstone. I love it please don’t end it.

I never watched Yellowstone to a friend told me about the show. OMG I got hooked right away. So I binged watched all episodes till now. It's sad that John Dutton won't be back on. I'm very curious how they're writing him off. I love Rip and Beth as a couple. All the other actors are awesome too. After I get hooked go figure it's going to be off. Can't wait to watch part 2. I'm curious how they are going to write John Dutton off. He has got so many enemies. But he also had cancer before. Either way it's going to be sad. How does this show expect to keep an audience until Nov. of '24? There are far too many entertainment channels out there for us to wait on one show, and too much in this troubled world to care about resumed storylines being a maybe. Taylor got way over his head with this franchise, and faces audience loss of interest.

I think Yellowstone could have gone another 2 or 3 seasons if they had handled it right. My opinion of the spinoffs, 1883 was pretty good but the others just didn't do it for me. Why there hasn't been a Sicario 3 is puzzling to me too. I think Sheridan is a great writer but maybe cares more what he wants than what the fans want.

Very happy about the new episodes of Yellowstone. Amazing cast as. But with Matthew joining the cast can only add more talent in the mix. I have not enjoyed such a captivating series due to the cast. Love the show.

Getting tired of the same old thing, not telling us anything about what the caption was suppose to be. Taylor needs to finish Yellowstone before anything else, like he should've done in the first place. Then we might still have seasons 6 and 7 of Yellowstone. It's sad that one person can miss up the whole story, as far as I'm concerned Taylor is to blame. 1923 was a great big disappointment after 1883. Hope Taylor has a lot of luck with the future series, I'm going to ask around before I spend anymore money and time on Taylor's shows.
Been waiting to see the nineteen twenty three follow up from where they left off and nothing , waiting to see what happens with Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford and Cassandra being pregnant etc, some good story lines but the show is all over the place, never seen so much half fast material anyone else would be fired from their employment if they left three of their jobs half finished over and over again.

Many Yellowstone fans have lost interest, but 1923 has the makings of a big hit if Sheridan would concentrate on one series at a time and give it the attention it deserves.
I wouldn’t work for Sheridan since he’s so scattered brained and can’t concentrate on the main show. Now we won’t know what happens to Rip, Beth, Teeter and Colby.

I've already given up on watching anymore of Yellowstone, as I can't even hardly remember what all went on. But if they're adding Matthew McCaunahy(sp?)(see? Shows just how unimpressed with him I am) I'm definitely not going to be watching. Besides, there's lots of other stuff to watch.
For once they need to finish what they started they need to bring Jamie down from his high horse and let the end come with them winning the valley and bring these companies down . Just my opinion in all it's a great show. ❤
I enjoyed Yellowstone. I was very disappointed in the interruption to completion of Season 5. Although Costner added a lot to the show, I believe it would survive just fine if he does not return. There are a lot of good actors/actresses in this series.

Taylor Sheridan never finishes what he starts. Still waiting on the 1923 series. A new one he wrote just started but I'm not going to watch it. All his series is short lived on TV and long waits to return and finish. DONE with his stuff.

Also tired of this flipping around between paramount & paramount+ - if im paying for one that shud be enough to see all- cancelling the excess- yellowstone is main reason i kept paramount for as long as i have- waiting until 2024 - i can wait until it eventually shows up elsewhere most likely- its been to long of a wait already - the waiting has been tedious thus far - but now its just ridiculous- imo. I think the story of yellowstone & The Duttons could easily😂 be carried on by the characters already in place & just get a replacement to play john - would miss KC but geez its past time to get on with things!! I’m in a wheelchair now and on disability. Taking about 12 meds and the disability doesn’t go very far. lol But thank you for the info. Diane

I’m still a fan of Yellowstone and look forward to the rest of season 5. Too bad Costner doesn’t care about his fans or his fellow actors. He could have made a much better decision.

McConaughey is good on some things but he does not measure up to Kevin Costner and for that reason I could care less of following the last final episode of Yellowstone the director of the series should be thankful for all the money and attention that he has gotten with the cast that he's had from the beginning but obviously he's too greedy to realize that and refused to pay the best actors he's ever had in all his series the amount of money that they are asking without this cast he really wouldn't be nothing so good luck director Kevin Costner I really hope that you find a new job and a new series to get involved with and who will treat you right and pay you right I'll keep looking out for your next upcoming lead God bless you
I’m not excited at all. Costner was already getting paid over a million per episode. Costner. wanted out to shoot more westerns. It’s sad. Costner had such a great series going.
I don't fault Kevin for wanting to move on. He was probably just sick of Taylor and his incompetency and his inability to focus and finish a project. Everyone should just wait and be wowed by Kevin's new western!!! At least he has dates for completion.
