Every enemy in the Borderlands series that bum-rushes you when you’re at full health but, as soon as you go into Fight For Your Life, they run and hide so you can’t get a second wind. Then they just wait for you to die.
Soooo true especially in the first borderlands, deadass made me rage more than anything else I’m video games and I used to play NBA2k a lot
I hate scavengers!
Soo damn true... They know the game mechanics lol
@@turdferguson8151 Or not, since you'd think they might want you to, y'know, keep playing their game and enjoying it and all. Isn't that the idea?
Badass buzzards in Late game.....
For me, enemies that call for reinforcements, especially in turn based RPGs
I don't play a lot of Pokemon games but that mechanic made me stop playing Pokemon Sun and Moon.
DS2 Elana: Here try my 3 aggressive skeletons while I shoot you
Player beat the Skeletons
DS2 Elana: Ohh you beat my skeletons, I have a reward for you....I summon another boss Velstadt
@@BigFootTheRealOne most definitely, since the game doesn’t let you summon a second Pokémon to help you out, too!
@@BigFootTheRealOne V
Not turn based rpg, but Judicator from Dark Souls 3 fits as well, since what he did keep spawning reinforcement on you.
Every flying enemy annoys me as hell, especially when it's a game with close range attacks
The constant Zubat spamming in caves in the old Pokemon games (maybe even in some of the new ones, but I haven't played them). Now, that was a pain.
This reminded me of the encounter rate in the cave to Rhone in Dragon Warrior II.
Ive been Playing Pokemon Emerald and OMG every 2 Steps a Zubat Appears
There are a lot of moments in Pokémon games for me where I think “they could have put like one other kind of Pokémon in here”
Another one is the cloudburst tank in arkham knight.
Let me guess, because you had to drive the batmobile?
@@PaxChildress Yeah .. Take the time .. Learn to drive the thing properly ..
@@PaxChildress it was just annoying to do it. Batmoblie is easy although used too much. But the cloudburst fight has so annoying, especially with the cobra tanks also there.
@@Infinite-99 Yeah, you're supposed to strategize before you take out a tank.
@@Infinite-99 the game's whole thing is being the batman, an important aspect of that is being 10 steps ahead of your opponents. Formulating a plan before you attack.
Nothing is more annoying in DOOM Eternal, than having a Carcass place their barrier JUST as you fire a rocket
Ouch!
Ye, whenever I encounter em I straight up go for him using the meat hook which stops them from moving and blast em.
Then don't do that.
@@hundinger1 "Oh my goodness, what an idea, why didn't I think of that"
@@_Samm I'm asking myself the same thing.
Malboro: *shows up*
My party: *has the 'Ribbon' item equipped*
Also Malboro: "Why do I hear boss music?" 😱
Yeah as soon as you get the ribbon they are no problem.
You always make sure to get ribbons for everybody as soon as possible lol... I remember in some of the games running into them too early a couple few times, but usually I have the ribbons already and they're no worse than some random mob on the map
The greatest accessory in FF history.
As JFK once said: "We have nothing to fear but those Cazadors from NV"
that's not an annoying enemy, that's a scary AF mofo that desrtoys you
@@yosefyonin6824 can confirm
I stopped fearing the cazadores once I had Boone and ED-E as companions. First time I brought them on the road North of Goodsprinngs, I saw the cazadores in the distance, and then Boone opened fire and they were just...gone.
@@100nitrog ED-E is ton of help but I can't erase the trauma of them swarming my weak ass
wise words, this guy should be a president.
You can destroy Carcass shields with the Plasma Rifle, which causes an explosion that damages enemies.
Also a grenade or remote detonation behind them to stun and following up with your weapon of choice
it literally spawn a bomb usually right next to an enemy if you know what a plasma rifle does to them. imo the whiplash enemies were the most annoying to deal with
I'd have to say that Pinkies are far more annoying imho. Plus, they have the side effect of making anyone that lives with you think you've lost your mind. People keep hearing me yell, "Fucking Pinkies!"
I found them to be more damaging to their allies than you for that reason, yeah. It's like they're placing exploding barrels around to blow up.
They even teach you that by making it a challenge in Arc Complex. Hard to miss.
Oh, 5 made me think of Feral ghouls in fallout. They're obviously not hard to kill but when they just leap at you from nowhere when you're walking round some creepy abandoned location. Same can be said for any jump scare enemies I suppose 😖
That’s why you master sneak and jump scare them. Legit teabag them and they won’t know you’re there 🤣
Run at you at god damn mach 5. The ghouls run so fast it looks like they glitch out of existence them re-appear in front of you. Kinda like they popped a reverse jet that makes the players sense of time speed up.
ugh the radiation damage is also really annoying.
@@piggynatorcool668 facts bro haha
They are nothing compared to cazadors
Necrophages of The Witcher 3.
1st time: "How you like that silver?"
2nd time: "How You Like That Silver?!"
11908th time: *HOW YOU LIKE THAT SILVER!!!*
The reindeer in the Fridig Outskirts are the most infuriating enemy in the entire god damn genre.
I think they would be on this list but there not really that hard or annoying but because they use the four kings gimmick makes me wander why they weren't on here/ the list could of bin made up of entirely dark souls enemies so I guess they had to limit it.
Ghru Leapers from Dark Souls 3 should definitely be on this list. Probably one of the most annoying enemies in any game, ever.
Those enemies were a piece of cake.
If anything, the Jailers in the Irythll Dungeon should be on the list, those guys were ridiculously annoying. The way they can just get rid of your maximum health just like that, at any distance, is unreal. That one room where there's like 10 of them is the embodiment of pure suffering. Your health is gone instantly if you don't know how to handle them.
Definitely the leapers! Way more annoying than the jailers
Both … Both is good
The one that jumps and also other with unstoppable combo + speed to always catch up with those running for thier lives.
they are actually huge chumps all u gota do is strafe to the side and 90% of their attacks will miss and u get an easy backstab. but yeah when i first encountered them they were pretty annoying cuz i was just overthinking things. one of the easiest enemies in the game imo.
Matador is a fight designed to teach you to use the buff/debuff system in Nocturne and all of SMT. If you buff your evasion and hit rate (Sukukaja) to the max, then the gains he made with his own buffs don't matter. You don't even need to debuff his agility, just make yours match his.
Sukukaja is especially powerful in Nocturne because it made the evasion rates so high. It was nerfed in IV and V.
Or you could bring some Dekaja Rocks like I did
I just use force immune demons and heal constantly. Sukukaja is a must i would agree.
He's pretty easy just need to come prepared i had Fog breath on one of my demons and sukukaja. That's true this boss fight teaches the most important skill strategy is buffing/debuffing
Also, having media is a must.
Mr. Shakedown's basically a walking financial support to experienced players. I hunted him whenever he spawned.
Same I would make my money in business and then lose on purpose to him and then come back later and he has triple the money I lost to him. So I would lose on purpose but it is a pain to kick his ass once u finished all his side quest and u have to fight like 50 health bars. But, I figured just keep dodge bait him and bam.
@@parawolfwolfsbane9524 it's been a long time since I played it but isn't there a special weapon, a short sword covered in chili or something, which melts his huge health pool? I remember farming him with a specific weapon from a vendor that opens later in the game.
The only thing you're experienced in is being a virgin
@@mydogeatspuke Been a while since I last played Y0 because i sunk so much hours but I think its called "Super Spicy Knife" which the heat action does melt Shakedown's HP in the early fights but hopefully you get your hands on the Zap Gun which is basically a shotgun that shoots electric shells and it wrecks them
@@denzelgist6922 that sounds about righ. Although the person I replied to specifically said about after finishing his side quests, which would be far beyond the early fights and the need for the zap gun. It's a good one to have early on though yes.
For me it’s any enemy that can easily stun lock you. Getting a combat flow repeatedly interrupted is a recipe for a tilt
Dogs?
Nearly every game with a dog enemy they're one of the most annoying enemy types.
Edit: Dogs got their own video which makes sense.
Especially in resident evil games
Ninja Dogs in Ninja Gaiden 2
Bloodborne is one of my favorite games ever and the dogs in that game can be a pain. Even after playing this game for so long seeing multiple dogs run at me still makes me sometimes go “oh shit”
Let's take it all the way back to Wolfenstein 3d. Those damn dogs strafed better than I could.
Capra...fucking...demon...
Probably the most annoying enemy for me are the incendiary shiruken ninjas from Ninja Gaiden. They are very nimble so can dodge your attacks, throw exploding shirukens like there’s no tomorrow, when hit they stagger you and then explode causing a ton of damage and the only way to avoid damage is to roll at just the right timing to hit your I-frame. Hate those guys with a passion!
Don't forget the homing birds from Classic Gaiden. They'll always knock you off the ledge, no matter what.
Clutch answer
Dude yes. Playing master ninja on sigma 2 made me hate these guys so much
I hated dealing with the Black spider clan in ninja gaiden sigma. but somehow they were allot easier in ninja gaiden 2 on the 360
agreed. In Ninja Gaiden 2, they made it a little easier and you can block the explosions, but they're still annoying as hell. It wouldn't be so bad if the stagger/explosion didnt interrupt your combos and allow other shurikens to tag you.
Pocket Raptors, Guild Wars 2. Ever been murdered by swarms of tiny super fast rat sized dinosaurs over and over? NOW YOU HAVE!
Honourable mention: the Unifiers from Guardians of the Galaxy.
They have lots of health, shields, they can regenerate both seemingly at will. They never get properly stunned so they’re always acting. They heal other enemies so you always have loads of mobs to fight who get in the way and let them regen their health. And they create energy orbs that shock your companions and waves that just freeze them in place till you break them out. Might genuinely be the most annoying fight I’ve had, it wasn’t even difficult it was just needlessly long and tedious every time you encounter them.
I just beat GotG yesterday and I couldn't agree more. Excellent game but man those guys were annoying.
Agreed, that game is awesome but those guys were annoying, the giant robots got a bit annoying after a while too.
They were a walk in the park for me personally something I liked about the game was none of the combat was really annoying or challenging
3/10 are Fromsoft games, seems about right
Wow, a boss I actually fought against and also a nostalgia trip at the same time. That Zelda boss wasn't too annoying or at least I wasn't one to get frustrated easily as a kid
Mass Effect 3 Phantoms. Invisible enemies that evade almost everything, have barriers and armour, and can 1-shot most classes from across the map.
Laughs in Halo 2 jackal snipers on legendary.
Dying the instant the game decides they shoot
But for real though - the phantoms were a huge pain in 1-2 missions.
@@bingobongo1615 Yeah, I was thinking more of the ME3MP on gold or platinum. It was always fun when you had 2 banshees and 3 phantoms on the map and they were all gunning for you. But yeah, Halo has had its fair share of annoying enemies too.
What bugs me with Doom Eternal’s Marauder isn’t the Marauder himself but the enemies that support him. Don’t get me wrong the Marauder is awesome to fight but when you add other demons to fight aside him it’s just more complicated than it needs to.
Edit: I’m not talking about fodder (you only need one Fuel bar). Unless you have a full bar, you can’t chainsaw multiple heavy demons without a Jerry can around.
That's why I like playing against him. 1 on 1 there is little challenge fighting him, but when other demons get added to the mix he suddenly becomes your #1 priority while also avoiding/tagging the other demons simultaneously
Worst of all is the fuckin wolf that Marauders spawn.
Elijah Clark I don’t mind a little challenge but it’s when you have Tier Level demons like Whiplash with the Cyber Mancubas fighting along side the Marauder is when it gets annoying.
The other demons aren't there to support him, they're there to support you because they are meant to be chainsawed, frozen, set on fire and ripped apart for health, ammo etc etc. Don't look at them as enemies, look at them as walking ammo pickups and health packs.
It's called making it harder for the player.
Lol when people complain about hard games...in a game where you just shoot.
Maybe it's just me but the nosalis from Metro, I hate those things with a burning passion. Especially on harder difficulties
Now that you remind me, those things are really annoying to fight in Metro 2033..
As for me Nosalis isn't as annoying as those mf shrimps, in Metro 2033, the small shrimps could jumpscare you and only attack you once then vanishing into the muddy water again, there's also this type of shrimps that pops out of water in Metro Exodus, god I hate it so much especially when you're low on med and you need to get across the lake with your boat
Nah, the librarians are the ones I fuckin hate.
@@masondavis4554 Librarian is the most intense enemy I've seen in Metro series, love those moments
Ikr
Harpies- Dragons Dogma
Saving up for a good pawn just to have a harpy pick it up and drop it over a ledge.
Those instances induced so many traumatizing moments of "NNNNOOOOoooooooooo!!!" While running hopelessly to save a doomed pawn.
The riddler! The equivalent of someone scratching a chalkboard with nails…
Rom the vacuous Spider nearly broke me. Like 20 minutes of walking up, hitting him once, and watching him teleport away.
Fromsoft at least toned down the tracking on its meteor attack, but I still hate that stupid spider.
I DESPISE the Carcass in Doom Eternal...
Dishonorable mentions: The Archers in BOTH Resident Evil 4 & Ninja Gaiden Sigma....very annoying...
And the archer knights in DS1…
And the archers in DS3 ringed city…
Manhacks from Half-Life 2. It's bad enough they get up in your face, but that noise they make is like being stuck in a dentist's office listening to the sound of teeth being drilled.
Malboro: Hey what’s your favorite status ailment? Mine is all of them.
#1: Halo 2 Jackal Snipers
I like the new less manic editing and almost high energy Falcon
get a life, he just narrates, can you people stop simping over him?
@@kingschwarzenegger3939 you really don't like him do you? Aww poor man child
almost all the chosen in Xcom 2 but more specifically the assassin. Her first move right out the gate is to appear out of nowhere, knockdown a soilder and then run away.
Sectoid also
Absolutely love all your guys videos
Threshers from Borderlands 2 can take an extremely long walk off an incredibly short pier
WORMHOLE THRESHER
The rabid types are just as bad
Man, I hated to fight the badass constructors
@@NEELZE99 I’d fight those all day long rather than Threshers. Screw Threshers man lol
Super and ultimate badass pyre thrashers. They only pop up when they are directly beneath you, and that instantly puts you in fight for your life. They are so cheap, lol.
The ones that that annoy me the most are definitely the boss fights to where they die, but then OF COURSE they have another life and so on, it makes me want to smash my TV 😂
Especially when you have to start completely over if you die
Sister Friede in nutshell, but i don't find her annoying tbh since i love the fight so much..
I still remember the boss fights in Dark Souls that has 3 phases and when they reach the last silver of health, they suddenly go Ultra Instinct and murders the hell out of the player.
exibit A that boss from ghouls and goblins. its hard enough beating him once; the second time its even worst.
Fuckn FFX i remember that damn boss had like 5 phases.
The Snake Eyes mini bosses in Sekiro. I got pretty good at the game and these enemies always gave me trouble to a frustrating degree.
No, no.
The duel-wielding White Monkey, not too far from one of the Snake-Eyes mini bosses.
That dude was legitimately harder than most of the bosses.
That Lone Shadow prick who's down in the hole 🤬 i almost quit the game over him.
Quake 'Spawns' , morrowind 'cliffracer' and classic doom pain elementals on nightmare. These are some of the first that comes to mind.
In my headcanon, Malboros got their bad breath from smoking Marlboros.
I, too, like to pretend the little worms in Bloodborne don't exist.
Very nice list, but I'd like to add Toonberry from the Final Fantasy series too
I think the Archvile is by far the most annoying Doom enemy.
I disagree. The fricking platforming bits that they kept sticking in throughout Doom Eternal are by far the most annoying enemy!
Well, this was a well needed video
Was it?
Opinions are like assholes everyones got one and most of em stink
@@metalmasiah Talking about your own I imagine?
Fallout New Vegas Cazadors.
The legendary bloatfly legendary difficulty with only high skill in melee
Cazadores can get directly in the sea.
they are more scary and powerful than just a"nnoying"
Anything with white hair, wings, and have an angel-like appearance. Another is Rabids from Borderlands 2
A boss, Judo Mizo, from Code Vein, you fight him after a pretty tough fight in its own right. The thing about Mizo is that he has pretty annoying attacks. He has this orb thing that spawns 4 orbs around you that will eventually blow up in front of you in pairs, they'll knock you back. He's got unnecessary combos, I blocked up to 9 back to back attacks which he seems to chance between 4-9 hits before doing something else. He has a near-cross-map slash attack along with another dash/slash which causes projectiles to spawn on the same side his sword is on and if you're not paying attention, you'll dodge into it and take heavy damage. Him and the 2 bosses before him are arguably the hardest vanilla bosses imo.
I remember the first time I beat Mr. Shakedown. I was gaming with my wife. He went down and I LEAPT off the couch and did a lap around the house screaming "YEEEESSS." My old lady had to talk me down.
Of course the hard wall boss that is Matador made this list.
Archers and their modern equivalents Snipers. I hate them so, especially if the arrows stagger you when you're trying to do something to proceed and it's an interruptible animation.
Pretty annoying in Ghost of Tsushima. Definitely had me commando rolling towards every archer at the start of a battle.
@@brookhaven86 Oh ESPECIALLY in Ghost of Tsushima. If nothing else I took care of those jackasses immediately.
The pair of Silver Knight archers up on Anor Londo.
Those two enemies were honestly harder than some of the bosses, not even kidding you. The arrows not only stun you, but you could get knocked off the building from a single arrow.
Archers are the @$!$ worse in any video game especially when your fighting a group of enemies. The worst part is when those bastards run away and you end up chasing them.
My gf told me about a good way that makes Matador a chump in return. Have Dekaja so you can take away his agility buff, and have yourself equipped to absorb or block wind attacks. Then have demons that also do that. Absorb, block, dodge, or resist wind. After I did that, the fight was nothing
I have finally noticed the Gameranx rule that 95% of ALL VIDEOS must include a Dark Souls entry
Ness and Lucas players in smash bros..
Lol...tell me about it
Pk fire Pk fire Pk fire Pk fire Pk fire
the primal aspits in hollow knight were awful
Yesss, I even commented mentioning them myself. Fuck those enemies
I hate those enemies in old school shooters that charge you and you gotta shoot them in the back. It’s super annoying when they join in with other enemies
There is a crack in my desk from trying to beat the Twin Princes in DS3. That fight took me 3 days to complete I have never felt so good killing an npc in a video game ever
As an Aussie, I love your use of the word prick 👏
Worst Video Game enemies are developers that rush a game out.
😅
😅😂😆🤣
*Coug..wait no cough, fucking Ubisoft.
Good list
In any Fallout game Ghouls irritate me the most.
Why? They move quite fast, other that hissing and growling can be extremely quiet so can sneak up on you easily, and they ALWAYS IRRADIATE YOU.
Even if you have some type of radiation resistance Ghouls always get you.
Now a Ghoulified Child of Atom would be scary.
i absolutely hate tatzelwurms in god of war. in higher difficulties + poison mist theyre annoying af
if you're gonna mention god of war you cant forget the revenants man
Moldorm - I'm surprised you don't mention that his health resets if you fall off either. Luckily you can easily regain any lost health with that stack of pots or if you use the secret fall to get to the fairy pond in the castle.
I just did this fight for the first time yesterday and I swear I fell off that platform at least 20 times. On the final run though I just decimated him without taking any damage once I figured out how to use the Pegasus boots in the fight.
Also I wanna add that I discovered the fall to the secret fairy fountain on my own and it completely blew my mind. I never knew what those big bowl/torch looking things were for and had no idea something like that was possible in the game! I could never beat LttP as a kid so revisiting it as an adult is an amazing experience!
How is it that that cliffracers from Elder Scrolls 3 are not on this list or at least an honorable mention? Inconceivable!
that *THING* on the thumbnail is what made me take a break from my Ultra-Nightmare run
Starting with Dark Souls...this should be good
Skyrim Dragons. Stiff animations, Hitboxes that are way out of proportion and behaviors that will just annoy the shit out of you, they're the most ADHD enemies you can ever fight as they literally fly away in the middle of a fight and burn other things before they come back to you and play their cheap tricks, Unless you unlock a certain skill which requires you to be a certain character(something that can limit roleplay which the game's literal theme is) They'll continue to be annoying because they never come down. While I love the game, and a lot of the features were great for its time; I really think that dragon combat in skyrim is the standard that game devs should aim not to follow.
What certain skill are you referring to?
What I had to get use to about the dragons in Skyrim is that each dragon encounter was a different level dragon no matter where you are in the game.
@@Gemini_Jake Dragonrend probably
@@modarnwarfare2rull That's what I thought at first but he said you have to be a certain character but all characters can get dragonrend. Maybe he just doesn't know what he's talking about.
@@Gemini_Jake He means if you use a mod that let's you not be the Dragonborn. For roleplay reasons.
Great that you sound a little more like yourself - not sure if you were sick, but good to hear your voice with it's normal energetic sarcasm. :-)
I feel like Falcon is trying to beat the record for saying “prick” the most times in a CZcams video.
The paralyze flying insects in the monster hunter franchise! True number one.
Ah yes, nothing puts the fear in then seeing a Vespoid from MHWI creeping up behind you, ready to paralyze you so the monster gets that free shot
You guys havent seen konchu
I think Vespoids are tied with Bullfangos for annoying small monsters that seem to always get you out of nowhere at the worst times!
You could definitely make another video of this. The cliffstriders from Morrowind are some of the most annoying enemies I have ever fought in any game. Speaking of Final Fantasy Tomberry's are really annoying too. The gnomes in Shining in the Darkness as well as the poisonous enemies in Shining in the Darkness. I think every rpg ever made has at least 1 annoying enemy in it. Midevil has a few as well.
You mean cliff racers? Those things were ridiculously annoying! Every time I tried to rest there was a damn cliff racer preventing it just out of sight!
@@jman0870 Yup, those are the ones. Honestly I think this CZcams channel leaves out a lot of games. Probably not on purpose, but they do. Those cliff racers where the one enemy I hated the most, then second where scamps.
@@CosmicDuskWolf how do you NOT leave video games out? this is a list of ten and there are 40 years worth of video games. what are you even asking for !?
@@kosmique All of them of course.
The biggest prick in gaming history is every for honor player in a multiplayer match. For a person that hasn't ever played for honor it is not even possible to just realise the definition of annoyance.
Wow boost guardian was a nostalgic trip just now, that’s the boss I could never beat as a kid 😅
The feral in State of Decay, man
One can get lucky enough to take him out with a headshot or splatter him with a car, but if you're already fighting a small horde and one shows up, it can be unreasonably frustrating to fight 'em :p
Edit: yeah, any foes that screw with your camera or have the potential to stunlock the player in bad situations :/ Very cheap, not fun.
Honorable Mention: Enemies in The Division series. I hate when I just exit a safe zone or am trying to go do a story mission and the nearby enemies spot me from a distance and immediately start shooting me, taking out a hefty chunk of health
Damned bullet sponges made me quit that game!
Finally i’m watching a video from gameranx thats not 1 year ago
Fleaman from the castlevania series. I spent 20 minutes in a room with 10 of them and nearly through my day into a wall.
I would have had the predator from wild lands, most stressful boss fight ever
Drones from Ghost Recon Breakpoint in my opinion should be here. Got so annoying Ubisoft had an update to give players the option to remove them from the game. For a very generic enemy like that to make such an impact is saying something right there
YES. So many times they interrupted what was otherwise a fun and immersive encounter
I'm eagerly waiting for your thoughts on Halo Infinite's Multiplayer. I hope you'll make a video on it soon :)

The marauder wolf: am I a joke to you?
For #9 doom, switch to the plasma blaster with upgrades! Blast them away and get bonus explosions!
Flying enemies in any game are annoying af. I personally HATE and despise primal aspid from Hollow Knight
Just recently getting into hollow knight myself I can attest fuck the primal aspid
@@chrisrinehart222 I loved every bit of that game, and I hated every bit of that testosterone jacked bee
@@CheesyNoodle134 what's even worse is nearly every coliseum had at least 30 of em
@@chrisrinehart222 looking back I probably should have just made a spell/tank build to deal with them instead of a ninja build
That flying bug in Hollow Knight that shoots 3 projectiles at once, hated them
Hearing Falcon say prick is the highlight of my week ngl.
The stupid mages/sprites that spam magic and teleport away in Kingdom of Amalur.
For me those suicide psychos from borderlands, especially the midget variety. And those little zombies in minecraft. Basically anything that's little and hard to hit annoys me so much
nothing is more rage inducing than a malboro getting the 1st attack and hitting you with bad breath
Oh man, I remember THE FLOOD being the most annoying. having fun with the storyline so far? Here deal with these waste of time ammo drainers
Exilus/Ancient Disruptor from Warframe
these tanky pricks, tend to steal your energy (mana)
at quite decent rate and if you dont notice them early, you might get into tough place while lacking energy
Heck, whole Ancient group is annoying ;D damage mitigation, energy drain and lovely toxic dmg (DoT)
enjoy
Okay, MOLDORM!!!! I slammed my head into my GBA when I was like 10 and shattered the screen. Devestated, MOLDORM is my nemisis
easily the worst boss in the entire franchise. ugh.
few details worry me about the Controller from Stalker: Call of Pripyat
1. he walks slowly and can be spotted from long distance
2. he is not best dealt with using knife (you probably mixed him up with Burer) - grenades / good ammo will do, but psy-protection is in order
3. he can only attack you when he can see you and from short distance, which does not make him that big threat
4. he can turn people around you against you, which is the bigger problem (hence the name - Controller)
5. in normal circumstances he does not spawn randomly (unless you stay behind at the end or use some modded version of the game)
6. have you met Bloodsuckers in Stalker games? they can be almost invisible, move fast and do spawn semi-randomly
but apart from those details Controller could be annoying
in doom eternal, if we use plasma gun then the shield explodes (but the shield producing demon is still alive and will bring another shield after few moments) causing surround damage and also might kill some of the weak enemies too
Dogs in soulsborne games
I’ve been playing Ocarina of Time on Switch lately and I find the redeads to be real pricks, at least at the level I’m at now. I’m sure they’re not so hard when my HP is higher.
just play the song of the sun and paralyze them.
OOT is on the Switch?
@@hazelthemcwitch Nintendo recently put N64 games on their online service. OOT is in the first batch of games.
@@psbox362 ah right, thanks! I’ve played LTTP but didn’t know OOT was on it now, internet says it runs very poorly have you tried it yourself?
@@hazelthemcwitch I have not. My biggest gripe with the N64 games is that you have to pay extra to access them and I don't feel there's currently enough to warrant the price jump.
But yeah, from what I've seen OOT currently has some performance issues on the switch. I'm also not sure if Nintendo addressed those issues and intends to fix them.
If your really want to play OOT, I recommend the 3ds remaster. At least that version has improved graphics and some QOL changes.
Most of the games on this list bring back some great memories 😄
lol.. those malboros in final fantasy 12 were a pain in the ass. Still though, i think the most annoying enemies in video games ever are the flying medusa heads from castlevania.
If I was going to choose a final fantasy enemy for this list it would have been the bandits that mug you. They steal a randomly selected item from your inventory and after a few turns flee the battle. If you don't defeat them before they flee then that item is lost forever. This could be a potion or it could be a unique armor or weapon that you can't replace.
i thought they were gona put cactuars on the list when i saw ff7 clip. little bastards are super annpying.
I personally would say the Grand Jewel boss from The Legend of Dragoon was an annoying boss to fight. Boss hit hard and you really couldn't use your Dragoon powers.
When I played that as a kid that fight was such a huge roadblock for me.
@@sparkpoi it was for me too. Imo the Divine Dragon was easier than the Grand Jewel
@Endless Dark
I completely agree, though when I was that age, the concept of grinding was completely unknown to me. When I played it later in life, just a bit of xp grinding made the fight very doable. I do think the jewel just kind of comes out of nowhere.
Murlocs from World of Warcraft. Right when you think they are beaten they run away and bring reinforcements. Especially annoying if you are fighting a bunch of them and one runs off for help. Do you chase after it, getting hit all the while by the others, or focus on the remaining ones knowing the one that ran off will be back with friends? Mrglwglwglwg ack!
0:24 Hey wait a minute!
I just started yakuza 0 last week and it is my first foray into the yakuza series. Decided to do it because you guys talk about those games so much and I am super grateful for you guys recommending that game to me because I am enjoying it. It was funny to see Mr shakedown on this list, having just started playing, because I completely hate him!
