Dry is a stand alone they did that you might like. I really enjoyed it.
Also, Challenger Deep is one of my favourite books of all time. I really enjoyed it. (It was my first Neal Shusterman, and I'm so excited to read more by him)

I'm also SO CONFUSED about RWRB being paperback. I've seen that becoming a trend in new releases lately and I'm so interested in why!! 🤷
jess can't read I think it was released in paperback because it’s marketed in the romance/chick lit/beach reads way! A lot of adult romance novels are released as paperbacks only and since this is new adult it kind of fits in there. But maybe with the book being so popular they’ll reprint it in hardback!

Romance books often don't come in hardback because so many romance readers read a LOT of books very quickly, so paperback is cheaper and more portable. It's a genre thing. Like The Kiss Quotient only had a hardcover through Book of the Month.

I have read the whole Unwind series. You learn more and actually read an unwind happen. I remember this series pretty well. I can tell you more if you wish.

Interesting! I remember not liking Risa (?) when I read Unwind. I read the whole series and enjoyed it and want to read more from Shusterman especially since people say some of his other books are even better
I'm glad I'm not the only one that is like, "Yeah, I'm gonna read and update you" and has to come on the next day all, "So...." 😂 And dragging yourself about getting on Twitter instead of reading. The struggle...
I so agree with you on Red White and Royal Blue. I so badly wanted the hardcover but it doesn't exist so I ended up buying the paperback. I don't know why there is no hardcover. At least the paperback is floppy so there's a plus.

Man so far 2 of the CZcamsrs I watch love Aurora Rising and if it's compared to Lunar Chronicles, I may just have to pic this book up because that is like my favorite series. But of course I need money to buy it and I don't have that right now. :(

Usually some adult books come in paperbacks for some odd reason! I have unpopular opinions when it comes to RW&RB but I respect everyone's love for it! 😊 For me Unwind was just okay, there was a scene that gave me the heebie-jeebies!!!! Plus Aurora Rising is amazing and I love all the characters! It does have more of a character drive and revelations that deal with the past.
Apparently Barnes and noble is going out of business? I think my grandpa said that. At my local Barnes and noble they also have a huge bargain section now and it stresses me out because I don’t know if this means they are shutting down and trying to get rid of their books? Some please tell me if I’m wrong bc this makes me sad :(

emmmabooks well I’m currently on page 235 and I agree im not a fan of the writing and this is my first book by Neal shusterman. So far I dont see how this needs a sequel. And I feel like the characters are one dimensional. I’m hoping my thoughts change towards the end!

I have an idea! Instead of hating on people and giving the people who do as such an easy way to do it, let’s not demonise people who advocate for certain issues with words like ‘Social Justice Warrior’ let’s not enable the people who use these words to spread their hate. Let’s either take back the term or ignore them and shout about whatever issues you want with out feeling demonised by the real demons! Thanks❤️
Cloying’s Books I wasn’t attempting or hate on or demonize anyone, especially considering I’ve advocate for a variety of different issues in my personal life too! I just don’t like the negative connotation attached to the name so I asked to not be called it :)

Not YA, but new adult isnt actually a real category in the traditionally published world. Sooo bookstore may end up putting it into the YA section 😬
BookLoversUnite It has been reviewed as adult by big review publications like Kirkus, and so will probably go in adult :) I’m a librarian and we have it catalogued in adult, as do pretty much all other libraries. The author was pretty vocal about it being new adult and the classification is growing (and finally including things other than smut)!
@@SamanthaPlansandReads that's good, maybe if authors keep advocating for it, then it will finally start to be a genre/category outside of the indie world. I'm glad they put it in the Adult area for now, thats probably for the best 😂

I wasn't a fan of Unwind either. I just couldn't understand why the world was the way it was. And the writing was so bland.
