    I have been using Rynox storm series gloves, since generation 1. I have some points to share.
    When it comes to protection, Rynox storm 2 did a great job protecting me from 100 km/h slide, mind you I was also using storm 2 to jacket and Royal Enfield knee sliders.
    But the only problem with Rynox is the durability.
    Rynox was only durable up to two years and some 100K kms(I don't have car gloves so I used to use storm 2 as car gloves as well, as I have really sensitive palms, stupid and cheap of me😂) at the maximum in my case. for the price it's a good investment when you ride those numbers in short period of time.
    The recent glove that I bought is storm 3 and surprisingly those are much better in terms of durability compared to storm 2 series, I have already done 50,000 km in two years(thanks to Covid) and gloves, have no whatsoever signs of wasting.
    P.S i finally bought driving gloves for car 😅, so the storm 3 are limited to motorcycles because I would look stupid driving a car with full gauntlet gloves😂😂😂😂😂😂 assuming I wasn't looking stupid driving a car with Storm 2 non gauntlet😂😂😂😂😂

      Hi which driving gloves did you buy? I'm also looking for one but not finding anything good. It'd be great help if you could lmk your choice. Thanks in advance.

      @@gaurangnaik850 currently m using the same Rynox stron evo 3 and pro 2 from past 2 years, and i think they are called Tornado Pro 3 for half gauntlet, now. They are excellent but are dry use only.
      For wet i have biking brotherhood dry gloves but any waterproof gloves will be incredibly hot in dry as they are for cold/ice weather too.
      So if you ride mostly in dry conditions, my recommendation would be RYNOX tornado pro 3 or for full gauntlet strom evo 3 both are priced, very attractively and provide very good level of protection in terms of real life accidents as I truly believe in RYNOX.
      I am not saying RYNOX is the best, but what I’m saying is, they are the best at for what price they are offered at.

    Your videos are highly appreciated. You help me learn a lot and mostly prove me right. I share your enthusiasm and passion towards details of technicals. I am using GRID2 from year and a half and they are really good apart from little nitty gritty issues which I wrote to Viaterra about, sadly they dont like productive criticism. I was using Rynox and thre of us riding colleagues bought them together but, they gave away too quickly. Poor quality I'd say. We have used Furygan gloves for 4 years before switching and realised there was no comparison. Viaterra is much reasonable offering but, it would be kind of you to please review the DSG gloves. I've recently researched a bit about their recent offerings, I wanted to understand if they are as good as they sound they are. Just a pointer, Motul has started manufacturing the 7100 in India instead of Vietnam and the vaporization of the engine oil has started happening only after that. I thought it was my motorcycle but, it isn't, same issue with others using it. No performance issues though but, I feel the gear shifts get sticky quite early at 3500-4500 kms.

      Same, cost like ₹1300 per litre. Been using it since the first servicing. I don't care if it had prolonged the engine run-in period. Now I'm running 4000kms and zero engine complaints.
      Once the dealership didn't have that RS4GP racing oil and I had to use the Sporty premium on my second servicing. Changed it back to racing oil on my third
      The difference I've felt is, the fan kicks in less when I'm on the racing oil vs sporty premium.

    I've been using the Rynox Storm Evo 3 full gauntlet gloves since the past 8 months/15000 kms. These are very comfortable. But recently I've been facing an issue, which is that they have started stinking very bad. I tried washing them, fully aware that they would wear away much quicker and thus lose whatever protection they had to offer. But they started stinking again after a few weeks. Summer has just started, and I cant take the stinkines anymore. It's embarrassing meeting your friends/colleagues everyday knowing they could smell the stink. Now I'm searching for another pair of mesh gloves. But I dont feel comfortable and don't get the same sense of protectedness which I feel on the Storm Evo 3s. Viaterra has recently launched full gauntlet mesh gloves, but paying Rs.6k for lesser protection is beyond my psychological threshold. Unfortunately I've to look out for premium brands and shell a lot more due to the import duties :(

    If my only reason to go for Viaterra over Scala is the visor wiper is it a right choice? How effective is the visor wiper in terms of practicality and its usage on a scale of 0 to 10?

    • @thesportztourer
      @thesportztourer  Před rokem +6

      Hi Vishal,
      Except for Storm Evo 3 both Viaterra Grid 2/3 and Scala Trekker have got the Visor viper on the left glove, but these gloves are not meant for riding in the rain as the viper is effective for wet visor surface. I did get a few chance to used the viper on my Viaterra Grid on a few occasions of unexpected rain where it performed fine. Also note that if the water droplets go on the inner surface of the visor then there is a very little we can do with the viper.
      I hope the above inputs will be helpful in your decision making 😊

      @senotriusneo6354 Před rokem +3

      Better for go the grid. Plus both are now ce certified (viaterra wasn't earlier citing cost). I have had 3 rynox gloves. They fit well but are not very durable. Both have sps Knox protectors for the palm. I have same experience with their jacket as well,tornado pro 4-cuffs have started to tear(there a hole on the cuff end) with normal daily use as is the velcro quality. So the protection part is fine but durability part not so much. Also use their airtex brand. Shifting over to viaterra based on most user experience from online ownership forums like tbhp.

      Check the viaterra Spencer jacket. Again depends on your budget and time you take to upgrade your riding gears. Rynox offers good protection for the money-just less durable proportionally. I don't see spending 15k for rynox products. They were pathetic when they first released years ago,but definitely getting better with time.
