- We got the unique opportunity to use the new Avata 2 for 4 weeks when shooting the launch video in various locations across the world. These are our thoughts and experiences as professional FPV pilots of using the drone. We put the Avata 2 to the test in extreme environments from rainforests to deserts as you will see in the BTS. There were highs and lows and not all the Avatas made it back in one piece.

Great Video, You guys dont have your self build drones setup with posiition hold even in professional shoots? or with Lifters etc?
very nice. Fun fact: in the first awesome part we always see pilot using the RC motion controller, but at the same time those movements which drone performs are obviously from manual (acro) mode, which this controller doesnt support (manual works only on separately sold Remote controller 3).
Actually we did a lot of shots with the motion controller, more than I thought. Of course controller is more precise 😊

is the goggle 3 still fully compatible with the very first dji VTX or caddx vista?

Seems like a really great product kinda a 2 in 1 an fpv drone and a normal one for those stable shots, plus having a remote camera angle gives even more creative freedom. To bad it's DJI so you need new everything to fly and my integra goggles won't work.

I wondered why DJI Avata 1 doesn’t have 4K 4:3. They saved it for DJI O4 system, it means we have to start from the scratch, including buying new goggles and new RC 😢
Its also some times since then I guess
DJi can do something that helicopters can't. film in a really bad weather.
