'limited edition' isn't worth much in the UK, since there are actually more 'limited edition' Vauxhall corsas on UK roads than the normal ones 🤣
I had a limited edition Vauxhall Cavalier Antibes. Basically left over parts. Had to return it because Ivy was growing in the engine. The clutch snapped. The seat un-clipped, so.... you slid around. Yeah, avoid limited editions. they suck. And then the problems started......
@@damightyshabba439I own the 40 Year Anniversary Golf GTI Clubsport MK7. And trust me if youd be owning that you would know if you were owning a Limited Edition...
Lol probably 50% of Golf 4s are some kind of "limited edition". Which is about the same situation as with these Intel cards. The "limited edition" means nothing because it's the only original edition.
Been testing an Arc a770 for about 6 months now its a great card.
Which motherboard do you use with this graphic card?
@@Utxavgo for anything like B550 or above but make sure to pair it with Intel i5 CPU or more only

Go Intel keep pushing your drivers on ARC GPUs!
If we want to see some improved GPU competition (including better GPU releases and more competitive pricing), we need to get behind Intel here and let their ARC series get in the game. They have been super responsive and super transparent so far with their driver development, and each new monthly release offers noticeable improvement of something or other.
The Arc drivers work best with DX12 and Vulkan. If you have a DX9 game underperforming try running it with the DXVK library which will translate the game to run on the Vulkan API.
You think Arc770 or Rx7600?
@@Miley_00 I would check the benchmarks for the games first and consider the budget. But if you're not on a budget and you need stability, AMD is the best bet since it's been around for longer.
My next gpu could well be an intel one. Can’t wait to see what they come up with on battlemage
A580+ is great if you are still on PCIE 3.0, due to using 16 lanes comparred to these 8 laners: (3050,4060(Ti), 7600(XT), 6600(XT), 6650XT).
I'm very glad I returned the $213 RX6600 and got an $152 A750 instead, about a year ago.
Not sure I'm following your comment. The a580 is a pcie 4.0 device so you would actually lose performance on a pcie 3.0
@@SystemWave Not really since it uses all 16 lanes. The difference is negligeble on 16 lanes, maybe 1% performance loss.
@@magnusnilsson9792Not only that, but a lot of older CPU's that are PCIE 3.0 can't implement resizable bar.... Which cripples Arc cards. Definitely better to use an older Radeon or GeForce in these desktops.
@@LakeHowellDigitalVideo ReBar can be used on PCIE 2.0 and can be run on sandy bridge like the i3 2100.
@@magnusnilsson9792 whilst you’re not wrong, having just gone through the process of doing this on an X79 board recently, it’s NOT for the average user. Quite a lot of steps to go through, and the average person who just wants to play games will be left confused.
Excellent review. Really enjoyed this one.
Great and thorough review. I am looking at the Asrock A770 16 GB Challenger - looks like same cooler as on this A580. Compared to the Intel Limited Edition, how is the noise levels? Comparable or is it worse on the Asrock??
Give editor Carl bigger portions this month.
Really nice work guys!! Interesting to see how the intel cards are doing pretty well now. They're good cards for use with transcoding, hopefully linux support will get better
6:27 A man of culture playing Returnal!
i love your chassis im a fan of mesh design too 😆
I recently upgraded frpm a RX550 to an Intel Arc A380 Elf. Great bang for the buck.
I have bought the Limited Edition for the 7600X cpu build, love to see a third gpu option along with Battlemage, & Intel Arc is not the best when it comes to drivers am willing to give them a try.
I have a 12700kf and an a770 LE and it’s an absolutely awesome combo in a matx case. Got both for absolutely cheap and it’s probably one of the best mid tier systems I’ve used. I built my wife a 6800xt and a 5600x and I honestly haven’t seen any difference in stability. Next generation of Intel GPUs is definitely something to get excited for.
Would love to se the A770 16gb cards go down a litle bit more and they will be 👌
I think I might build an Intel Ark pc just for the fun of it. Nice video PC Centric.
Albino I like how you show the Price of items unlike other Vids
I might buy one if it’s good for streaming and recording from a second computer for my main
Of the 3 games I primarily play: Final Fantasy XIV is the only one listed as having "optimized driver support." However, Star Trek Online and Star Wars The Old Republic aren't listed anywhere I've seen. Star Trek Online is maxed by the game engine; but, there is a huge difference between the Arc 770 and my old Radeon 580. Also, SWTOR is not listed; but, OMG does it look awesome. As I don't play e-sports titles: I can only go by the 3 games I do play and the Intel GPU has me impressed for sure. If Intel continues its current track: it many actually catch AMD some day.
Dude you are like the Jacob Collier of hadrware! I love your content!
6:48 this is one of the small bits of editing that i love to see
Had the A770LE since day one, a few teething problems in the early days with a few games, but it's been a great card, Improvements and fixes with every driver release. Was a risky move but thanks to the absolute state of Nvidia's pricing, and the way that both AMD and Nvidia treated their "customers" during the whole covid/bitcoin mining craze ... I decided to just go for it with the Arc because they were the only ones not trying to take the absolute piss, and it was worth the wait.
Looking forward to see where they go from here with Battlemage.
Same I had the 16GB model with that glowy stuff on it. One thing Intel wins with against all its competition is definitely the looks department. That and the copper heatsink is pretty hefty.
just out of curiosity, is optimization an important factor? especially with the playstation ports.
I just picked up an Asrock Challenger Arc A750 secondhand on eBay for £155… I think I got a bargain!
I would’ve preferred an Intel LE card but can’t find them in stock anywhere in the UK.
I'm trying to build my first PC that can run good games on a 600-dollar budget what are the best GPU and CPU combo im using the Ryzen 5500 paired with the XFX Swift 210
I am worried intel is getting out of the market altogether, I hope they push through. I think if they stick with it market share will grow.
I think they'll get bigger than AMD eventually, but it might take 10 years to get there

Anything is probably an upgrade from a 10 year old gpu (Like my current gtx 970)
but with an i3 10100f and 16gb ram is the A750 worth it for my setup or is this more of an a580 deal?
I'm stuck between Asus ROG Strix G16 and Lenovo Legion Pro 5i. Can you help? Asus: i7-13650HX, RTX 4060, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM Lenovo: i7-13700HX, RTX 4060, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM. Which one should I choose? Both are similarly priced in my country. However, I've heard about Asus having a CPU heating issue. Could you compare them in terms of material quality, cooling, display, and performance? I am an architecture student, mainly using 3D programs and occasionally playing AAA games.
From only the information you posted here, the Lenovo has a better CPU, more storage, and everything else is the same. But, there isn't much information to go on from your post, besides the processor. Keep in mind that the mobile versions of the 40 series GPUs are NOT the same as the desktop versions, and will be limited on power to reduce heat and power draw so you can not look at benchmarks of a desktop 4060 and think it applies 100% to a laptop.
I seriously looked into getting the A770. The driver address one game at a time. Big improvements but it just isn't there yet.
couldn't seem to find the arc a 750 limited edition avaliable anywhere in the uk
was gonna do an arc build but could never get the card in so i did a 4060 instead lol only like 100$ more than the a750 and runs way better
ive been using an a750 for months now and havent had any problems apart from star wars survivor and starfield which are all fine now. Overall im very happy with my choice which was an upgrade from a 1050ti.
upgraded from the 1050ti aswell
I like the in a nutshell posters in the back
My desktop only has a 300w PSU, will i need to upgrade it to replace my gpu with this card? My build is a Intel 9100f, 1650gtx gpu, thanks
My brother PC Centric
Hope to see review battlemage intel when it arrives sometime in 2024
coming from a EVGA 1080 Ti the A770 16GB is close to perfect for my use case.
not too expensive, better performing in comparison and lower in power consumption -if you care about your electric bills-
Should I get RTX 4060 or Arc A770 to pair with my LG 2K 165hz Monitor and my Ryzen 7500F processor?
Go for Arc only if you can go with Intel CPU.
Why no Arc 770 16gb? That's the card I am leaning towards paired with an Intel i5 13700K
Are they any good with VR? I have a Quest 2
I have an Intel A380, planning to upgrade to 7800 XT in future
I got the A750 for $180 (used deal on Amazon). It's fine for me. I use it for productivity (not video editing) and competitive gaming which usually have no performance issues. In fact, I capped it at 90W. My CPU, tho, is the 14900K which I need more than a fancy GPU, so, priorities...
um why get the 14900k its same as the 13900k but a bit more expenssive
Did they fix the issue with them not working for VR on Quest?
The A380 is my daily driver now, the A750 is my wall deco.
Real Intel chads rock the Arc A310
Been using an A770 16gb with a 5900x for almost 2 years and I have not been let down yet. This card and XESS when needed, obliterate everything I throw at it including Helldivers 2 🤘
I have a arc580 now I want to swap out for a RTX 4060ti is that a better card
I am massively confused by the "Lower is better" "Performance per watt" chart. The only sensible unit for such a chart I can come up with is FPS per Watt which of course more would be better. Right, the chart even says its FPS per Watt, so surely you'd want more rather than less?
Sorry, that's an error, should be Watts per performance
I wanted to get one of the arc cards but they were really expensive since these a really limited stock of them here so i settled for an AMD card mainly because it fit my budget and i know amd cards
Got myself a cheap used A770 not that long ago. No issues.
Why is your exhaust fan in your case not spinning? That’s a good way to thermal throttle your gpu so I don’t think your results will be optimal.
literally all 4 sides of the case are ventilated and the heatsink fans are pushing some air around in there. i think he's fine.
@@maximus3294no he’s not fine at all, his temps will be significantly higher which means the cards will either not boost or clock down to compensate, which likely explains why he’s getting strange results when compared with other reviewers.
@@blackbirdpctech kinda stupid to close the side panels, but the case itself is pretty ventilated, it's fine unless the extra 5-10% means a lot to whoever is watching.
@@LorikQuinnmaking mistakes such as this isn’t a problem, what you do when you are made aware is … I would retest and check … pin a note in the comments explaining if there is a difference … it’s not a big deal unless you ignore it and make it a big deal.
I'm on a 1660 Super and I've been watching things with interest while considering my upgrade options... I'm going to wait for Intel Battlemage until I make my final decision as it's only weeks away if still on track.

@@NZRanger but i got intel cpu i see some test where with ryzen cpu you dont have same thinks but maybe rhey fix it
Do intel arc gpus pair well with ryzen 7 7700, and do they play games well at 1440p?
Yes, personal experience with my A770 16gb. You get good fps for the $ at 1440p, however it won't match something like a 7800xt or 4070, but those got for 500$ in the US. All of the other Arc cards are best at 1080p
if only gaming the a770 is really good but not all games but there is the rx 6700xt less vram but 20 to 30 % better but if u also do anything else than gaming the a770 is still better (actually it could out perform the 6700xt if it gets better drivers support)
I am currently running an ARC A750 LE on a Ryzen 9 5900X. Works like a champ. Not all AM4 boards support Smart Access Memory (AMD's Resizable Bar equivilant), so be aware of what your AMD board does or does not support before you pull the trigger.
Time change from FINALLY to ALMOST 😅
All about perspective - everyone says the super series cards aren’t anything to get excited about. For me, I’ve upgraded from a 970 and this is after playing on console for so many years - and this 4080 super is mind-blowing. Most content creators have their hands on every card so I can understand given the minimal difference.
Mhm. If you went from low end or older generations you will be quite pleased. Only the spoiled gamers care
@@RomvnlyPlays yep on most of the games I like 1440p native works great without the features so I’m very impressed … but if I already owned a 3080 or something fairly recent, I wouldn’t consider an upgrade tbh
@@BoogersAndMilk it’s like getting the latest phone when you have last year’s model. Minor upgrades to the product line don’t warrant a new phone.
For the price and the performance increases over time, the card indeed is a good option.
Nah bruh, I’m returning my A770, until intel actually optimizes arc properly for older games that use openGL, DX10, 11 and add VR support
Wise man don’t be a beta tester
They have done a ton of updates lately. What games are you still having trouble with? You need a newer mobo that supports ReBar
Use DXVK and you're golden.
They've really been working on old games. Alan Wake(2010) originally didnt even run at all. But they listened to user feedback and rolled out a driver update that fixes it.
Battlemage! 🙌🏼
As far as your Fortnite numbers are concerned, I noticed you left Nanite Virtualized Geometry On. That's most likely what's tanking your performance. I believe the same thing happened to me, when I was testing out an RTX 2070 Super, and the numbers were way lower than what I'd seen on CZcams. Fortnite has so many settings now, it can really be confusing.
This is a wonderful card for VR now with pico 4
I paid $180 US (~142 GBP) for my Asrock A770 months back when Intel's drivers were being trashed and I was collecting parts for a new build. So I'm a bit Happier with my Price to Performance Ratio than buyers today would be. Gambling on Intel is out of character for me as I prefer AMD CPU's, but I felt that Intel was sincere about getting into the GPU market and at that price it was worth the gamble.
Thanks for the Video!
its nice to see a reasonably priced pc
The A750 Limited Edition is still on the shelves because people went for the A770 Limited Edition and the AIB editions.
I'm just waiting for the Battle Mage GPUs to drop!
noice case bro
I wish you would of tried an actual Old DX9 title like Black and White 2 a DX9b (not C) title from 2005. Something they would not of had any chance to optimize for... but tomb raider and deadspace??? thats like the most obvious things they would and of course they would run.
I am more interested in what Intel will come up with at the high end of the market. The problem with the strategy adopted by Intel is that it is hard to generate interest in a low end product, as the kind of people that are willing to be early adapters are generally enthusiasts who also want the best performance. The 4090 kind of remains the only game in town for 4k gaming without compromise.
Bro if i am getting arc580 for about half the price of rx6600 then which one should i buy. arc580 is about $125 and rx 6600 is about $241. These are the prices in India so which one should i buy
A580 100%. That is a great price for it.
I’m routing for intel to take on nvidia and amd but is it likely intel will persevere and keep pushing or will they exit the market like it’s rumoured they will? I hope thats not the case. Keep at it guys
Why didn't you show the a770?
My brothers pc is still having problems with drivers after removing and installations ng them again. It didnt check for updates and when. I go to instal asisst it just says refresh page with red text
Try using DDU to wipe it clean and try again
Would love to see the ray tracing performance
My problem right now is that I'm looking for a GPU for older CRPGS, and nobody has ever benchmarked a CRPG lol. I just want to play Pillars, Shadowrun, and Baldur's Gate at 1440p and never drop below 60 fps. Can a used 1070 do that? Can these cards do that? Who knows...
I'll check them out for you, once I get my A750
Does anyone know which keyboard he is using now?
I am planning to get the 770 or wait for the battlemage series. I really want to support intel in this market with Nvidia and AMD overpricing thanks to their duopoly.
1440p master race. A huge upgrade over 1080p and worth it 👌
ARC is great and the performance is good!
Hi sir, I do have a problem with intel arc driver when using monitor plugged via Display Port, the monitor does not display any picture, could you try on your rig?
We used a displayport cable to connect to the monitor when benchmarking, didn't have an issue with that.
@@PcCentric May I know what monitor did you use?
top job
Not going to read all the comments to find it. Having prefaced my remarks that way: And for anyone sorting by newest - Starfield is a menu bug. Anytime you use it, the performance tanks on ARC. For the A750LE I use A blend of low and medium with XeSS Quality. Then restart the game and don't go in the menu again. Otherwise performance tanks and you have to restart again. It is less than 30 seconds with a 5600X3D 32GB of 4000MT/s synced with FCLK/infinity fabric. Still annoying though. Considering the game was broken on ARC at launch it has come a long way.
Just incase no one has put this out there. If you make even a single Graphics change in Starfield, you have to reset the game. I don't know why this happens, but on all 5 systems in my house running a wide range of graphics cards this has been the case for me.
What is the program for the performance display in the top left?
it's the MSI Afterburner. It's free and pretty good, but the UI is a little bit confusing.
Love my A770 16gb ¡!¡!
I have the Sparkle Arc A580 and can get around 70 FPS on Elden Ring and around 100-120 on Fortnite
If the Arc cards had better drivers, the A770 hardware wise places it around the 6800 xt, but the drivers current state pulls it down to 6650 xt. But the price point is the same as the 6650 xt.
waiting for battlemage ... maybe an additional Card to my 4070ti as a second sysmtem
Intel Arc FTW
Performance per watt - *LOWER* is better (FPS per watt). You sure about that?!?!?
Are the flagship models dead? Coulda swore there wqs a 16gb file.
A770 LE(16 gb), which got discontinued because Asrock, Acer, and Sparkle are now making a770 16gb versions. Intel has to be careful with their AIBs to make sure they can see profit or else they'll stop making Arc cards(unlike NVidia).
what gpu would you use for a dual pc setup? main gaming will hold all of the gaming while the streaming is for the multiple ports.
21:10 Your chart should be "higher is better" because more FPS per Watt = more efficient.
Hello i am loking for 5-10years build ryzen 7 7800x3d and amd 7900xt its good?
its gonna be a beast
@PC Centric, On Fortnite you shouldn't be using afterburner for FPS you should use Fortnite's in built one. I'm using an I7 12700K with Intel(R) UHD Graphics 770 and I get 90-200 FPS. EDIT: That is on performance mode though. EDIT 2: On direct X 12 I get 30-40 but sometimes drops to 25.

Yeah my biggest regret is getting the a 750 instead of the 770
