Tomato 1kg
cooking oil 100ml
Red chilli powder 150g
tamarind 250g
Salt 100g /crystal salt/mota namak
garlic (handful)
cumin seeds 1 tablespoon
mustard seeds 2 tablespoon
methi dana 1 tspn /Fenugreek seeds
for tempering
cooking oil 500ml
cumin seeds 1 tspn
mustard seeds 1 tspn
handful of curry leaves
handful of garlic cloves
dry red chilli
asafoetida 2-3 pinch/hing
