Just beat elite 4 one elite 4 is about 70k pokedollars and your pokemons gain xp too and well that workd for me because my pokemons are level 80 so i can beat elite 4 easily
So why elite4 is good method? Well you get about 70k money and about 1k exp per pokemon so that will be something like 20-30k exp
That is 70k money 30k exp pretty good huh? And that takes only 20-25min max
@@pel1tietaja 5 minutes for elite 4? 15 is still unrealistic because each trainer has 5 pokemon, if you take 10 seconds/mon not including text delay and pokemon switch it would still be roughly 2mins/trainer (10mins 10 seconds) then you have to run to each trainer, loading times for each room, dialogue pre battle and the dialogue post champion+reset+running outside+flying back to elite 4
If you can run that perfectly every time w/ no potion usage or missed attacks you're still looking at over 20mins

@@pel1tietaja the cerulean cave is still faster to grind money and exp depending on what combo you are whit chanseys and you might randomly find a shiyn as well, i like to keep the golden razz for thos eocasion and sellt he garbo berrys like pinaple and nanab no reason to really keep them :/

@@koensmid706 Well it depends, some people who didn't play the original Pokemon blue and red on Gameboy way back in the 90s, will definitely have some things to say about the game, whether the game structure, gameplay or story is good or not, or whether they like the new graphic design or if the design is almost the same as the previous pokemon game instalments or like Pokemon Go, or basically it's just people that never played pokemon before but decided to buy it eitherway, those people that did play the red/blue in the 90s, that really like the gameplay, that are also big fan of pokemon, will definitely enjoy the game because they wanna relive those moments of how everything changes in the past (like pixel graphics, original gameplay and story), with new twists in the story, and new features like the pokemon catch throwing feature (that I don't like), to new ways of gaining experience, to other new things in the game

When battling trainers use payday. Great way to attack and gain money every turn.
Should you just use it once ? Or have you noticed you gain more money the more you use it ?
I've heard this method works well in 2-player mode as well.
@@OdysseyOf use it as many times as you want in the battle. The more you use it the more money you make. In older games the amount you make per use was based on your level. I dont know if that is still true but for a while I made 100 poke dollars for each time I used it. And since my new hit level 50 I have been getting a little more than 235 per use. So currently if i use it twice in battle i make 470 extra poke dollars. So keep using it.
Yeah the amount is 5 times the users level. My 20 Eevee made 100 and then later at 25 125
I've used this method since getting the TM in Pokemon Let's Go, (taught it to my Eevee), and had like 60.000 Pokedollars already, after defeating the second Gym Leader. I mainly used Pay Day to attack though, not switching my Eevee even once xD Especially if the Enemy Trainer's Pokemon, is a Rock Type, you will be able to use Pay Day reaaaally often ^^
I recommend PP Maxing the Payday (mainly in cases of Brock and Bruno) in the events that the attack stat isn't high enough to do a significant amount of damage to the Gym Leader or E4 member's Pokemon (although, the lower the damage, the more profitable it becomes). Support trainers with another Pokémon with Payday helps too.

To add to the tip about rebattling the gyms and elite four would be to use payday for each opponent. Adds about 2k or more to each battle.
I have 300 hours in this game but I still learn so much from your videos. I never knew that steps reset the cerulean cave items! Nobody else has ever brought that up, thanks again Mike!
You don't have to take steps to let the items in Cerulean Cave respawn, you just have to wait (every spot has an individual timer)
The best way to earn money (in my opinion) is beating the league while using Pay Day on all elite four members and then go to Cerulean Cave and repeat that process (also catch any Chansey you find in Cerulean Cave, they give the most exp out of any Pokémon, that way you can combine a very good money grind with a very good exp. grind)
Dave Van Tol also in Cerulean Cave, you need a following Pokemon out of the Poke Ball. It will regularly dig up stardust, starpieces, nuggets, pearls, etc.
Just catch a Pokémon and everything respawns.

Dave Van Tol - Um yes. Make a round collecting them all. Catch a PokĂ©mon and then theyâre back. Iâve done it repeatedly farming XP.
Also the payday thing is slow as hell. Using a maxed out Mewtwo and speeding through it is the more efficient and more money in the long run. Having the take the time to change TM back and forth and the fact that many of the E4s Pokémon take limited damage or are immune makes it much slower.
One shotting them is the better choice for a speedy farming run.

No, they have timers. Try te one spot as an example, catch something and try it again, you will see that there is nothing there
Of course there will be a few spots that will respawn in the time that you catch something, but that is just because those respawn in less than a minute
Try the one in the middle, it has the rarest items, but it also takes the longest to respawn
I know that the payday method is slow, I don't use it, but I would if I didn't have strong enough Pokémon to one hit ko the whole league
Remember your buddy PokĂ©monâs tail will shake when you are near a hidden item đ
Somthing i was kind of suprised it wasnt included on here. Aftwr you get a long enough combo you can get candies and sell them. Around 400 poke$ per capture. You can just keep doing this. Perfect if you want to also look for some 6iv pokemon or shinys.

You can also go to pokemon road (old cycle path) and get berries from the yellow flowers, they do respawn after you walk for a bit. This is a good way to get some money before beating the E4
For cerulean cave: Idk if all pokemon can find items there, but ik that Mewtwo can help you find items throughout the cave in the light patches

I knew about cerulean cave but I thought it was a timer rather than a number of steps to respawn items in the sparkly spots! Good to know, thank you!
a fun thing about cerulean cave if you have a pokemon following you occasionally on spots that dont have an item the pokemon will find stardusts/big pearls/ other valuables its worth having a small mon following you while you search just to be safe
There is another way as well, similar to Cerulean Cave but accessible much earlier in the game. In the underground path between Cerulean Cave and Vermilion City there are invisible items on the ground that you can find by watching how Pikachu/Eevee waves their tail. These items can include Nuggets, Pearls, Big Pearls, Pretty Wings and a few other random items like fresh water or repel. It is also possible to do this in the underground path between Lavender Town and Celadon City as well. These items will also usually respawn at a similar rate as the ones in Cerulean Cave but are not marked by a visible indication (glowing light) so you have to rely on your partner to find them.

Re-battling the elite four is like 80.000 every time you do it, just remember to turn off battle animations in the options menu and you'll fly through it once you have decent pokemons!

You can also visit both underground tunnels, Mt Moon and the Celadon Game Corner every day to collect the hidden items. They spawn each day, I presume after midnight.
You can also get the TM Pay Day early in the game. This will more than double the money you get from any trainer if you use it. It adds up.

Cerulean Cave: the items respawn after time. (notice when you just left the cave and go in again -> only a few items respawn)
Fun tip for 2:05 you can tell if the spots have items in them by looking at your partner pokemon's tail. Not one person has mentioned this lol

Wow. That was the improved version, I wish I can download its emulator and play that rom too. By the way, the best thing that I can share to make more money in pokemon is to have Meowth and let it use "Pay Day" in enemies always, even in wild ones. The more you used it, the more money you get.

You can also walk up and down the underground tunnels while clicking the a button repeatedly. Thereâs a a few nuggets and pearls that respawn daily.
Wen you fight we gym leaders and elite four use the move pay day each time you use it itâs 500 give the move to powerful and fast Pokemon

you can also lvl up your Pokemon by chancy chaining in the Cerulean cave as you stack berries.
As well as use a Pokemon with PAY DAY to fight the GYM leaders. Snorlax can learn PAY DAY an net you almost all of your earnings while facing Brock (lvl100 Pokemon).

by the way, the cerulean cave technique does not refresh the items by the amount of steps but by the amount of time that goes by.
Iâm surprised you didnât bring up âand as soon as you beat Brock, skip all the trainers on the way to mt. Moon making a b-line for the master trainer that will give you payday upon defeating him, grab a second joycon and payday your way through the rest of the gameâ because I hate myself and I need my PokĂ©mon to help me get da monies since payday canât be used on wild PokĂ©mon.

Another tip to get fast nuggets : those underground tunnels have hidden treasure on the white spots in each 3 lanes. If you spam a while running down each collum, you might get yourself some cool items and nuggets

You don't need to leave the cave, just keep circling the spots, they will continue to spawn items
Idk if this is fixed or not but I actually found helix fossils in cerulean cave. It is a good way to get all of your fossils registered
All you need to do in cerulean cave is wait 10 mins to respawn almost all of the item patches.
I tried changing system time to grind the slowpoke method. Moving the time ahead did not work even when performed in airplane mode

You can also do the underground tunnels everyday for 2-4 nuggets per day (10-20k)
Pro tip; donât sell the Golden Razz Berries, Keep then for the Legendary PokĂ©mon and also for shiny hunting. Golden Razz + Ultra Ball almost always guarantees a catch on a shiny.

Thereâs also the underground tunnels just outside Celadon city. I donât know if itâs a once per day or multiple respawn thing, but I always find some pearls or nuggets in those.

Just battle the elite four using just payday, using a partner trainer as well with a pokemon using payday. To keep from buying ethers just teach the poke headbutt, replace payday, then replace that with payday over again. This also works for gym leader battles. Your better to keep those berries for catching pokemon.
Partner Eevee is so OP I beat the Elite Four and the Champion/Rival at the end the second time in post game with just that and a small handful of potions.
I think you forgot a place, if you go to the underground tunnel(not diglett cave) you chances is you might pick up nuggets there, idk if its respawning or a daily thing but that another way of earning money
Kinda late but i like to chain Pokemon and sell the Quick/Health Candy and repeat. I did this on the first Viridian Forest run.
You can actually stay in the cave and they respawn ever so a few minutes it's good if your grinding in curealean cave or whatever you call but I have tried it without leaving and it does work if you don't want to leave the cave just keep running around and you can keep grinding for berries I think each location spot is a different time but don't quote me on that

Yeah the whole step thing is weird cause I was farming chansy and running and circles and after a couple of catches items would start spawning again
So if you have Mewtwo follow you in Cerulean Cave then he will find things like pearls and stardust pretty often.

the cerulean cave method, would that work for mount moon, I restarted my lets go pikachu save, a while back, I'm half way through, and I'm broke from shiny hunting pikachu in viridian forest, I did get a shiny oddish in viridian forest earlier tho
edit: I tested the mount moon crater item thing, and I kinda got it to work for me about 5 minuets, and I only found 2 moon stones
Edit: I looked at serebii, and the mount moon items are daily, and cerulean cave are minuets
I find the easiest way is to fight the Elite Four. You get like 60,000 poke coins when you beat them.
You can take care of slowpoke more times you just need to wait

I used to use the Berry method but I realised I was making maybe 20k per hit. After doing an hour run on the elite 4 I got maybe 200k? Not sure. But I now Combine all the methods into 1.go and challenge the gym leaders. Then do the elite 4.then go farm more berries for half an hour. Then go battle the elite four again. I make so much now its actually insane
