Thank you for this amazing video! I copied 95% of this and built my first drone from it and it flies wonderfully.
How many min. It flies in single charge
Why did you copy 95% instead of 100%? What was the 5% that you chose not to follow?
@@mikewedgwood697 he may have decided to build it with some analogue parts rather than digital
Bro which remote control and vr googles you used? How much it costs?
@@pseudo_yt5598 I've been cautious with not draining the batteries too much so maybe around 5.
THANK YOU! This is what I was looking for. I want to build my drones and since I have an electronic background but FPV is new to me. I know the basic components needed but the specs is were I struggle to understand. Hope to see more videos like this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
That looks a lot easier than I thought it'd be. Thanks for posting this, it's very helpful.
Congrats, you are one of the few in drone/RC who can solder!
Most videos I saw they heat up the tin and then try to put it on the lead or pad, so one could get cold spots later.
Awesome video and thanks for taking the time to break everything down Barney style for us! 🤘
That looks a lot easier than I thought it'd be. Thanks for posting this, it's very helpful.
😍
Verty good build video, I've been in the hobby for over five years and picked up several helpful tips. Thanks.
Awesome tutorial brother. I’m new to the hobby and this was a tremendous help to better understand the basics of everything. Much appreciated ❤
I liked the cap mod attached to the plug. Great idea!
Hey man....I just tried the dental floss trick for the ESC and it worked ! That's how valuable your tutorial is....I've watched it multiple times. Thanks again!
haha that dental floss trick is definitely handy, glad the video helped! 🙌🙌
Sick. My first time getting into fpv quads.. Just ordered a 5inch. Can't wait
The floss technique. Best new technique this year
Dude your Rock, thanks for the detailed video and how you show how to build and sodder correctly and where everything goes I enjoy this type of context again .Joe Nyc
Awesome build my friend. You just soaked something inside. Thx for taking your time with us older folk.. were cool too ya know . Lol. Thx mate..
Mikey
I really enjoyed watching you build this drone
Cool Bulit, Good video... 👍 (Clear description with step by step detail)
I was looking for just this kind of video. Thanks!
Its awesome mate! Thanks for all the details!
Awesome build nice and clean Looks fantastic
Them stealth motors are pretty sick. I did a xilo build that had them and they work very well with little heat on stock profile
Agreed! I love how they fly. for the price you cant beat them
wow i love how simple you make it look lol
OK that floss trick was really cool
thank u, this is just amazing and easier than i thought
Love your vides I'm just getting in to drones I got a dji mini se I wish I had one of your builds thanks for shareing
Great tutorial! I found it really helpful! I have just one advice as an electrical engineer when it comes to soldering - if you can, use leaded solder and add a lot of flux on the soldered coated pads before soldering the wires. Generally gel flux works better than those flux pens. At the end the leaded solder joint should be shiny. I recommend leaded solder, because it's still used in aerospace industry thanks to its superior resistance to vibrations. Cheap lead-free solder, especially one without a healthy amount of silver, such as the cheapest Sn 99.7% Cu 0.3%, is prone to cracking and I would not recommend it for use in drones, as it can give up on you after a few crashes or worse - in flight.
He didn’t clean his solder tip once either and dip in flux and a brass cleaning thingy.
Best thing to do is inhale the fumes. Its really good for muscle memory when handling the drone
nice vid. getting into diy builds is pretty overwhelming !
This is pure gold !
This quad turned out AWESOME man SUPER CLEAN BUILD 🤌🏽✌🏽
Thanks! 👍
WOW, i can't belive how easy it is now... Not like when I started 12 years ago on a Arduino board. Great video...
Your Videos just got me to the Fpv world gonna make this one, thank you!
🙌🙌
Ohh, man , you are genius ❤️ you make it so easy for us❤️ Thank you 💕 keep it up 🥰 subscribed ❤️
Great video…your teaching definitely gave me the confidence to try this build.
Love to hear this! 👍
That's a clean build. I will definitely use this as a blueprint. Thank you
No problem, glad the video helped! 👍
@@TRONCATFPV dude it really did...I would love to watch more build. Keep up the great work !
Another awesome build video! Very clear and concise. I did your $150 build and regret NOT going digital. I will probably build this one next and just go all in with the DJI digital setup. Thanks dude!
I made the leap from analog to digital last year at somepoint. Although the VTX/Camera cost is significantly more, it is so so so worth it.. I still have a couple analog quads and can hook up my rapidfire module to my DJI goggles otherwise everything else is converted to digital at this point.
Thanks for watching!
@@TRONCATFPV I totally agree, I ended up winning a prize pack from J.B. that included a GepRC Crown HD CiniWhoop, that was the excuse I needed to purchase a set of DJI goggles. I’ve never looked back, digital is absolutely amazing 👍
Absolutely brilliant... You've earned my subscribe! Noob question - If a particular motor/esc/fc/controller etc isn't available, how can we know if the alternative will pair with the other existing parts?
Great building video. I learnt few tips. Thanks for making and sharing it!
Ohh by the way very nice and clean build, excellent work👌
wow. I actually wanna try this now. thanks for sharing the info. new sub
23:50 “hex screws, or hex bolts” yeah close enough haha. Awesome build
Some serious nails you got there brotha 😂 stripping down those edges this way 😯
Most comprehensive and informative video I've come across on youtube 👌
Glad it was helpful! 🙌
Excellent content. Really rare to find videos like yours.
Thanks!
Beautiful Experience brother 💕🫶👍🔔
Thanks for the video. I need to solder on the same esc and this really helped me visualize just what I need to do. I’ve installed receivers before but never a stack. If it comes out half as clean as this build I’ll be happy.
If you've soldered a receiver you'll deff be able to do the ESC 👌
Typically the ESC has bigger pads and is easy to work with.
@@TRONCATFPV thanks man. I did it and it works! Appreciate your channel man!
Very clean build, nice!
Built my 1st one about 5-6 years ago. Crashed it so hard it burst into flames lol. Finally decided to rebuild and try again, and this video was a huge help/quick guide to remind me that it's not really as hard as it seems. Side note, trying to solder with not so steady hands sucks lol.
Holy shit thats insane lmao
My first drone build never even flew. Plugged in a lipo and immediately went to smoke. I soon found out about smoke stoppers and hasn't happened to me again (Knock on wood)
@@TRONCATFPV Nice. The joys of learning I guess lmao
That's cool asf lol. I didn't even know they could catch fire
super quality and amaazing.make it so easy.i want t build my own drone.thank you.man
amazing built.
Awesome video dude! Build is clean and the drone is sick 🤙
Yea buddy!!
Nice solder work!
sick build
Thanks... I really like this video... easy to learn how to build from 0.
That's a nice biuld for the money's thanks for sharing 👍🏼
great work
Good stuff bro. Awesome content. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome BUILD !! 😎
Awesome DRONE !! 😎
Awesome FLIGHT !! 😎
Awesome VIDEO !! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😎
and ~~Awesome voice. :)
I liked the Ryan air landing at the end 😅
Just some support to people nervous, long time line of sight planker here. I have quite a bit of soldering practice but I decided to build my own drones. Was a headache at first, but used jb’s guide eventually and built up a few drones and had a small fire or two but now I am building some sick drones and encourage others to try. Very satisfying and think it would have gone way easier if I followed a diy kit off the bat. You all can do it!
100% agree with this 🙌🙌
Неплохой дрон собрал ) я хоть ничего в долгах не понимаю , но с удовольствием посмотрел )
Nice Drone, Nice Video!! Thanx from Germany !
What good cheap goggles and radio go good with this
ok i retracted i always comment as im watching lol this is such a dope build bro! i will be trying this one soon!
Great video and I build my own as well the thing I noticed was the copper winding at the bottom of motor is hanging out and low! Ive never seen a motor like that so you may wanna watch it. Thanks for everything!
Great job on the build and video !!! Nice conclusion flight as well! I thought I was the only one that shook during a build, my buddy and uncle made fun of me for it.
haha when you're working on such small electronics I think you're naturally gonna shake a little no matter how much practice you have lol.
Thanks for watching!
This was fascinating. I really want to start building my own drones but have been a little scared. This really helped!
Don’t be scared use a super high temp like degrees 800c
@@sethenewman4309 ? with soldering?
@@calmarcalmar yes with soldering
@@calmarcalmar my bad 800F
where can i find the screws you used to hold the caddx vista down?
Great drone build!! Do you have another video setting up a RadioMaster controller for this same build? Thanks!
Nice nice vídeo man! Very good!
Nice build!!! And great flying skills bro!
Thanks!
good job buddy. I like it!
Clean build ive never build one before but after watching this i want to try
Definitely build your own drone it’s a lot of fun!
I am not a promoter for any type or company of fpv but I mysef learned how to build through CZcams university and a xilo 6s hd complete build kit. There are many types of diy fpv build kits on the market that is a great starting point to learn how to build following a step by step video. Only thing I truly recommend is learning how to solder properly . Rotor riot has solderless solder free builds but in the world of fpv soldering is usually a must have skill for repairs and believe me when I say you will crash and need to repair
Do it! It's one of the best parts building it yourself
@@trentondrones6429 I want a good low light camera for sunsets so I was going to buy a Mini 3 Pro but I ran across some of these custom drones and I am wondering if I can build a custom one with an even better camera. No idea though, just started my journey on this
I want to build too ;) Fly Safe ppl
this is awesome, nice video
Thanks for the video you do great work.
Thank you!
Super quality content man, I just subscribed!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing bro
Great video!
I'm gonna have this as a hobby when i get a job
WOW....thank you absolutely got my interest in building my own drone now but just worried might screw things up😂😂😂
Thank You 💗
great video! thanks
Nice! FWIW screws are what you use to attach something to a medium, those are all bolts and nuts.
Very good! Thanks for share!
Wow this speed.
I like
this is literally the best build video i have ever seen.... and ive seen a lot. excellent job! Any other links though? some items are out of stock...
Your videos are amazing! I bought the parts for this build, but decided I'd print the frame. Would the TBS source One V5 work for this?
Keep up the great work!
U had a 9v and gnd at the back of board also to make it neater but hey it still looks great a clean build!
Nice!!! New subscriber 🤙🏻
Hey dude! Clean build! I realy enjoyed wathing this video so I purchased almost the exact parts, exept motors and reciever.
I was just wondering what bracket you’re using for the camera to fit on this frame?
And do you use any loctite on your builds?
Christian ✌🏻
I badly need this drone🤧❤️
Bro you are my go to!! I've been wanting to build my first quad after repairing my DJI FPV using your vid "HOW TO CHANGE A DJI FPV ARM" and the confidence you have given me with your video is immeasurable!!! I will be building this drone within the next few weeks and will let you know how it went.
🙌🙌
Love to hear this, I'm glad my videos have helped ya!
@@TRONCATFPV would you build one for me and I buy it from you
How it went James?
@@ambroszkiewiczadrian Dude it was actually fairly easy with the help of Tron! Piece of advice when doing it be sure to keep all screws with the parts they come off, if you don't it can become very confusing.
This vid makes it super easy though!!!
@@TRONCATFPV Nice dude!! Didn't see you commented on my post!! Thanks for the help bro it was clutch!!! I also watched an old video of yours where you built the whole drone at an eco price and I was gonna do it but couldn't find all the part you listed. Any advice on a durable build for someone first going manual?
You've got some mad skills.
I've been flying fixed wind with Spektrum and lemonrx. I'm trying to decide what protocol / transmitter to go with and goggles for drone pfv. Perhaps tx16s thinking elrs but I'm an older guy and feeling slow with the tech stuff... Perhaps hdzero goggles.
very nice, thank you, great video.
Holy 🔥🔥🔥
I love your build videos! I’d love to see a 200$ 4inch long range drone build
Noted! My 2022 budget build will be coming out in a couple weeks 😉
I WILL be creating my own monster thanks to you :)
🙌🙌🙌
Wow this is amazing. I always wanted to follow you and build my own drone but i can’t get stuff needed here😢
Great video and build. By chance, did you do a vid on tuning?
Also thanks so much for the dental floss trick, I have ripped so many dampeners, Yeesh!
nice soldering 💪
Amazing. Im gonna jump right n and see if i could build it.
Great video. I am very interested in building this, but its been a while since I have been involved with FPV drones (the last was a DJI Phanton 2 with a 7" screen attached to the transmitter. There are some items that are out of stock (frame). What would you suggest as an alternative? Also, what digital google setup would you recommend for this setup? Just looking to fly around our property, nothing extreme.
