As a rams fan, he didn’t pan out for us. I thought he was going to be something good for us after the end of his rookie year, then the end of last year. Hope he plays good for the Vikings, but if not I won’t be too mad, we traded him for a 6th round pick hopefully we didn’t just get scammed 😂
As a rams fan , this was a move mcvay made a bad call on. Hes a back that needs touches . Period. Hes got the talnt. Hes displayed it plenty of times. Nobody will ever TRULY know the beef between him and mcvay. Personally i LIKE that he demanded the ball more. Our back kyren williams has been ok. Hes not even close to the pure runne4 cam can be. Im glad he went somewhere with a coach that believes in him though. Give him 15 + attemps per game he will give you 1k yards. I will definitely watching yall gsmes to see how he does and i hope he makes alot of our rams fans regret this. He got so much unnecessary hate sometimes from our fans when hes worked his tail off to get back where hes at. He was the #3 back according to pff the last 8 weeks of last season. Hes added close to 20 lbs of muscle too. Feed him and get out the way

Funny, reading through these comments reminds me of when the Falcons got Todd Gurley and thought their running game was going to light the NFL on fire….how’d that work out for them? Cam Akers is good, sure, but he’s nowhere near elite. Even during the Rams Super Bowl season he barely stood out. His best year was his rookie season, he’s average back at best.
Mattison runs with more ferocity and straight line burst imo at point of attack. Cam has more top end speed and good burst too but Mattison fights for every yard. Cams effort just looks a bit lacking. Compare the two backs’ film from this game. Oline also blocked better for Cam.
