I’m not even a Vikings fan and I’m genuinely happy to see Kirk Cousins play up to his potential. He had a hell of a game.
Yeah the Vikings were clicking at all positions!I think yesterday they beat every team in the NFL!No mistakes,and the O-Line was terrific!Never see a Game from the Vikings were the O-Line gives Cousins so much Time!Remembered me at the Ravens Game against my Lions!No Mistakes and all is clicking!But that is not every week!Sometimes I cant believe why the teams not clicking every week and were so inconsistent

Kirk Cousins did not get sacked in this game, and Jordan Addison made some huge plays that really set the tone for this entire game. The Defense forcing 3 turnovers, Camryn Bynum collecting 2 picks late was the capper. Great team win by the Vikings

As someone who went to this game. I can officially say that it was CRAZY in that place. I’ve been to 4 games and this was the craziest (I’m a Viking fan).
I love us bank and my fellow vikings fans. Such a great atmosphere full of passion and brotherhood. I always sit on the end of my friends from the aisle so I can sit next to strangers that become my buddies by the end of the game

@@mt-ye3wb that was my read as well. It's hard to make that call in the moment, you see a soft ball and you want to catch it, but even if he came down with it, so what? We aren't going to attempt to march down the field in 9 seconds so a batted ball is just as good as the Int there. It's a completely different game without those 6 points as time ran out in the first half.

As a Vikes fan, this was their best win in a long time. They played their hearts out. O-line played well, defense made big plays, and Cousins played well in prime time ! I like that Troy said Cousin's is a top 10 QB. He is when he gets protection like tonight.

Cousins has ALWAYS had a good O line this year, all the stats have been done and the most common denominator is he doesn't get the ball out fast enough. Perhaps he's fixing that.

The O-line has to be one of the biggest improvements in the Vikings' game today...the whole team played well so not to detract from the team effort...but zero sacks on Cousins speaks to the heart of the O-line in this game against the 49'ers.
Also about Cousins who took a few hits after throwing the ball. He played as good and courageous as anyone that I can remember.
They played OK. Cousins made them look good by getting rid of the ball and avoiding pressure.

Seemed like a lot of bad playcalling. Field goals from the 2 yard line.
But attempting a 50 yard FG at the end was a braindead move. A decent punt and they've gotta go 90 yards with no timeouts in under a minute. Nearly impossible.
Miss the coin-flip FG, and now they have the ball at the 40. Totally doable.
And okay, say you make the FG. 8 point lead, they still need a TD and have 70 yards to cover, plus a 2 pt conversion, to force OT. So basically even if you make that FG, it's not that big a deal.

One word not often used to describe Kirko is Tough. That guy takes hits, faces blitzes, really has done a much better job keeping his cool last couple years. Hope MN can sign him long term as he is the best QB solution they have consistently had taking snaps in a long time

What we learned from todays game - Niners NEED Trent, Deebo, & basically the full healthy force if they want to make a run
You have to be able to win injured. Vikings have JJ out, and are still making the offense work.
And Addison out for a quarter or so as well. Playing with their 3rd, 4th and 5th receivers.
It also shows Purdy is no more than a slightly below average quarterback when the stacked offense is not there.

McCaffrey was traded from my home team panthers and was always the same. Dude is very fast. On a ton of peds and burns super hot. Comes out blazing but burns out and unfortunately has zero durability. The money they paid for him and he's always injured will be a big liability for them.

Purdy has been riding along with an elite offensive line and defense. Sooner or later the rest of the league will catch up. Mid season blues and reality in the NFL.
So true...the absence of Deebo who gets touches and dumps from the backfield made Purdy seem all-league. He is getting exposed.

Through the first 5 games Deebo, McCaffrey and Kittle all had over 70% of their yards come after the catch. Purdy has been bailed out by guys turning short passes into big gains on a consistent basis.

On some of their big pass plays I thought to myself "I could've punted the ball to the receivers they were so wide open". All the Purdy boy fans wouldn't shut up about how great he was. As a Niners fan, this one hurt man bc we straight up got beat, like against Cleveland we could at least say we had ourselves in a position to win. But the Viking beat us man to man coach to coach this week. Was a good game tho!

Kirk Cousins played a tremendous game for his team as he threw for 379 yards with 2 touchdowns. Then, he was drafted on the same team as RG3 except he played in the NFL longer than him. I remember he was drafted by the Redskins. He has come a long way since playing for the Redskins. He is having heck of a career as a starting quarterback. That’s an accomplishment!
