I personally don't think that Snape was a villain. He tried to do the right thing at the end and paid the price. There can be many opinions about him and Lily, but I don't think he was ever obsessed. He was just a person in love and lost. Think about the burden he carried.

Snape never did anything like this to lily. On the other hand he respects women a lot. He is close friends with minerva and in the spinners end chapter he handled the situation with such dignity when he could clearly take advantage of Narcissa. Snape has done many good things like saving many lives, he is a hero. Maybe you should read the books again

He was able to do this because he was a better wizard than voldemort could ever hope to be. Voldemort stole and killed to be powerful. Snspe endured true pain and suffering throughout his life and used that to become as dangerous as everyone saw him to be.

Snape is honestly the most tragic character ever in movie history. Hated by everyone but then they all realized he was the true hero after he died. Arguably More heroic than dumbledore

He's on top of the list of the greatest tragic heroes of all time, probably the second greatest just behind Anakin Skywalker.
It breaks my heart to realise he was called a coward by many but he was the bravest of them all risking his life every day just to make sure Harry stood a chance
I still remember, in the theaters, during "the reveal", when that silver stag was shown again, everyone was screaming, cheering and crying so loud that I couldn't even hear the rest of what Dumbledore said. What a beautiful moment. I miss that time. Snape is legend.

Severus Snape is my favorite Harry Potter character of all time. Snape was just a guy who wanted to have a nice, peaceful life. His death still hits me hard, even 4 months after finishing all of the movies. Thank you J.K. Rowling for creating such a deep, beautiful character. Thank you Alan Rickman for creating this character to life. Thank you Evelyn for reminding me of his greatness once again.

Whole life we are unaware of his/her contributions. And when we truly identify that what we are today is a complete contribution of the person whom we thought to be "supporter of the Dark Lord" was actually "defending us from Voldemort". Why is Severus Snape my favourite character? Simply because there was something about him that was so human, something you can't help relate to. He had a rough childhood and lived most of his life with a broken heart, and this made him come off bitter and cold, but we all know what that feels like. Nobody's perfect, and Severus is a great example of why.

This calibration was amazing, on its own Snape’s story already does an amazing job showing how tragic his story is while showing how important he is and what he did. I haven’t been as moved by Snape’s story since I first was old enough to understand how much he had suffered. His story becomes so familiar to us that he begin to forget how deep it is. This video was so emotional and really show how tragic his story was in a far deeper way than when it was by itself.
