I’m a Japanese fan of ‘Bewitched’. Now, that is being broadcast and I’m watching the second season. Alice Pearce was so thin and I’m very sad to see her. How can a person, who already knows she herself is going to die soon, act like that? She was a real entertainer and a great person!
I loved this lady in Bewitched. Loved all of the chactors, but Alice Pearce would always make me laugh as a child, and even though she is no longer with us she still make me laugh. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
Elizabeth Montgomery and Bill Asher were close to Alice Pierce and her husband, especially Elizabeth. The cast and crew didn't know how sick she was, but Liz noticed that Alice's husband would stay on set in order to give her her medication. At the beginning of the second season, Alice got everyone together and explained the situation. They did everything to try and make things easy for her. She worked up to a couple of weeks before she died, I think. To honor her, the episode THE PRODIGY was held until the end of season two, as its finale. There's a wonderful video her on YT about Alice Pierce. For example, Pierce and her husband were on their honeymoon when Bill Asher and Elizabeth Montgomery called her to ask if she'd be interested in working on their new show BEWITCHED, but they wanted her to come in immediately. She always wanted to do comedy. Her husband agreed and they met with the Ashere and the rest is history.
She is Amazingly gorgeous she makes beweached movie 🎥 more fun more excited, every time I watch her I get excited she was the best ❤️❤️❤️ RIP In Heaven To those who left us actors and all 🙏🕯💐❤️🥰🙏
She was wonderful! An amazing talent for sure. I’m saddened that she passed away so young but she lives on through her work. Thanks for this lovely tribute.😊
I agree! A lot of people that consider themselves "unattractive" or ugly, have the sweetness souls and know how to use it to their advantage often times through comedy. Shemp Howard said he was the ugliest man. I found them BOTH to be amazingly talented with facial expressions and comedic timing. Alice's husband was sweet and amazing as well + the cast of Bewitched. One of my favorite episodes was when she thought she had the "power" + the garage door one.
She died from ovarian cancer toward the end of the second year of Bewitched at the age of 48. The last episode Pearce appeared in was titled "Prodigy." It was completed many months before Pearce died, but it aired after her death as the last episode of Season #2. Pearce was cremated and her ashes were scattered at sea
My mom remembered that she saw the episode "Prodigy"that Elizabeth Montgomery said,"This episode is dedicated to Alice Pearce ".Does anyone else remember Ms.Montgomery saying this?It may have been a voiceover.
The only Gladys in my opinion ,she was funny, and I felt bad,for her when no one believed her. The second one,was more annoying . I don’t know why she was replaced ,after Alice died. I could have done with out her. The story’s where still good without a nosy neighbor, that showed up in a few episodes.

It would've been fun if she did the voice of Olive Oyl for the Popeye cartoons.
