Frank's a lovely man, he's been through so such it's unbelievable, a gentle giant with a heart of pure gold.
Defo met at a resort once he is a gent, Mike was acting like an no manners or anything, why was he even there if frank was there and was act the big I am, enjoy the game then pxss off back to mush heads pot ranch. He talks about his ego this ego that his ego needs to learn some respect ✊

When you see the true size difference between Frank and Mike it really hammers home how phenomenal Tyson really was. He looks like a ‘normal’ guy albeit very stocky. Frank looks bloody huge. These things you don’t quite notice when this generation of fighters were facing each other in the ring as it’s just two men with no real perspective. Would truly love to meet Mike, he seems a fascinating character now he has matured. Was fortunate to get to meet Frank when he was fighting and kindly gave a talk at my school when I was about 12 and he was a thoroughly nice fella

frank was the only boxer to go in the ring with 'bad intentions' against Tyson at his peak, the others just went in for a pay day. He is a true gentleman and will always be an all time great.

Tyson even in retirement still has that intimidating presence about him. Interesting how that is. I saw George Forman in person. Very powerfully built man. Yet he was fun and sort of lovable in person where you felt safe in his presence. Tyson still has that edge about him. Must just be part of his personality.

Thank you very much - yes met Frank - Mike was pacing around - didn't really want to be filmed - as we left the room he said to me 'Don't get star struck' or words to that effect - I wasn't - I was just filming them all leave the room - he was moody that night - other times I've filmed him he's been great

Scott Welch in the background. Met him at the bar in the concourse at the MGM in Vegas before the Hatton/Pac Man fight. His mate bought us a beer and he stood and spoke with us for ages about his career and some stories from when he was filming Snatch, besides taking photos with us. Very very nice guy.

Difficult to say - I have filmed Mike a few times - sometimes he has been great - other times suspicious. This time I was there to film Joe Egan's dvd but obviously a big part of Joe's life was Mike Tyson so I had to film Tyson as well without being intrusive. He seemed in a bit of a mood & everyone was a bit on edge including his security - I took some shots but didn't approach him - he had been told why I was there. As they were walking out of the bar he got pissed with me and told me 'not to get 'star struck' which annoyed me as I'd left him alone & only taken a few shots of him - I also wasn't 'star struck' - the security told me to stop filming which I did. I got a few shots of them all making an entrance & then I was told to leave the building. It was a tense atmosphere & something was going on - no-one was really speaking - Frank & Mike never spoke in the bar - an interesting experience

A little off script. I met Joe Egan back in the late 90’s when he was running ( he may have owned it, I’m not sure) a pub I occasionally drank in. He’s a huge guy. But one of the most welcoming people you could meet. Nice lad.

If D.Beckham was to meet (for example) D.Bergkamp, do you think either person would be "star struck" as if it were? Look at the the infamous relationship/"friendship" between Andy Cole & Teddy Sheringham......
This is what they done all their lives and in the heat of the moment when they do meet each either inside or away from the arena, it's just another face. I guarantee you M.Tyson would have had more time for Fank, if Frank could talk to him about racing pigeons then boxing and past encounters in the ring.
I still love Frank! Named my choc labrador Frank and my first Teddy bears were called Tyson and Bruno lol. All those years ago.

Frank is so respectful and humble. You just don't see that anymore, especially in the boxing world today. Floyd Patterson was also known to be a gentleman as well. It makes them honorable both in the ring, and outside.
I was so lucky to grow up in the 1970s,80s because there was so many amazing boxers around,then even British title holders or commonwealth title holders were premier League quality,so many GRT fights on TV, BBC or ITV..I remember watching the fight between Roberto Duran and Kirkland Laing I think I was nine or ten what I watched was a cracking fight from two very different boxer's... watching Steve bunces documentary about Kirkland broke my heart, because he couldn't remember fighting one of boxing's true GRTs...As for big Frank that laugh brilliant and where's arry became a catch phrase,him and Harry carpenter became a real double act.....know what I mean.....always be yourself Frank because everyone loves ya no matter what...
