I can honestly say Frank is one of the nicest famous sports people you will ever meet . I can say that whole heartedly as when i was a dustman ( refuse collector ) i used to collect the refuse sacks from his home when he lived in Emerson park Hornchurch .. One very nice guy he always had time for a chat or at least gto say hello .
I'm American but I've always had the utmost respect for Frank Bruno. He's always been a man of dignity and class and he never gave up on his dream of becoming HW champ despite losing in hiis first 3 attempts. I was very happy when he beat Oliver McCall and fianlly won the crown because he deserved it.
Mc Call let him win because it was a deal between Don king and Frank Warren so Oliver could've knocked him out but he didn't even try. Watch the way he fought Larry Holmes and he was his hero

Frank Bruno is such a great guy unfortunatly his mental health and demons he was batteling back then being constantly in the spot light eventually took over and it effected his and Laura's marriage. I'm so pleased that Frank seems to of got his Earthly life in order. He has wonderful children and both Frank and Laura have raised great children and should be both very proud of thereselfs. God Bless you Frank Bruno and Your Family Amen xxxxxxx

What I notice is .... Frank Bruno seems a very nervous character, it's like he is dreading what anyone is going to say ...or come out with .... Being friends with Jimmy saville in this period and probably knowing (as a huge amount of people did ) back then what Jimmy was like and up to ,. And the way Phil collins emphasises "lives you touched". Something just doesn't seem right here ! It's sort of something slapping us in the face and we choose not to acknowledge it

There's probably never been another heavyweight boxer in history with a better physique. Sadly for Frank, this was heavyweight boxing and not a Mr. Universe contest. His dodgy chin undid him in the end but his fight record is impressive nonetheless. The only poor boxer who beat him was Bonecrusher Smith. Apart from that Frank only lost to Tyson (twice), Witherspoon and Lewis. No shame in that.
