  • Following on from the last video, after a night stop in La Rochelle where had a walk around the town and some amazing pizza we depart for a non-stop flight back to Wellesbourne.
The flight goes smoothly and we follow our route exactly as planned, including getting a VFR zone transit of the Solent CTA. Only on short final do things go not quite to plan as the Crew Alerting System (CAS) begins annunciating a warning for the fuel temperature being excessively high.
Aircraft is a DA40 NG fitted with Garmin G1000 avionics and GFC 700 autopilot.

Oh my god, that's me holding short in the Tomahawk! G-BPPF. I took a photo of you from the holding point because I wondered if it was you. I'm flying the ELKI DA40NG down in Lee.

Hey there! I was looking at potentially buying a TB10 and was wondering if you had any pointers for things to look out for as well as how you found ownership/maintenance.
