My favorite part about Defeat and Black and Grey as a whole is how the entire mod is just played off for laughs, with every impostor being dumb, but then for Grey and Black's songs, all pretenses drop. There's no more silliness. They go from "ahaha red is so stupid" to a genuine fight for your life. I wish more joke mods would do stuff like this.

The V3 flashback part really says a lot: Black has had his eye on us on a while and now that he has fully evolved and gotten better at his craft over time he will stop at nothing until he ensures that this rodent is dead
surely the black importer was always watching boyfriend after v3 surely he said that in the next game he will find him again and if he came back and with his son now as his son the black was enraged and aroused his fury against him for that reason in v4 said he will regret it

In this update, we can see black with new sprites; 🔄, in his idle sprite, we can see an serious and menacing black imposter with his classic transit orange cone, his knife and his red mic. Also with his red flackering eye. In the ⬆️ arrow sprite, he show us his big mouth with his cutting and sharps teeths. On the ⬇️ arrow sprite, we can see how he killed his own teammate, white, showing us his head and 2 parts of his body. In the ⬅️ arrow sprite, he will point us, how we lose the game for him, and also could be a reference to vs tricky and his left arrow sprite. ➡️, and in this one we can see how he get a bit closer at us, litteraly mencionating in any moment we will be killed one more time for him, and we can't do nothing to stop him. Many still think that the dead crewman that is shown black at the time of the position down, is white, but no, it is the father / mother of gray, I know that many will say that it looks a lot like white, but to which I respond that the color that is used in that sprite of the dead crewman is the father or gray ... why? simple, in among us that is the correct color of gray that should appear in the base mod, but by design issues I think they made it darker. also the creators confirmed that it IS THE FATHER OF GRAY.
I really like that there isn't only death crewmates, there is also bf's dead bodies. That little detail just literally saying to us "you have already died so much time, why are you still trying?" I'm surprised that nobody were saying about it, it's not that hard to see
I love this song, It forces you to do your best and to never give up, It went from a super hard level to a fight for your life in v3, and then you have to literally give your all here in v4, It will always be one of the hardest levels in fnf history, and i love how it shows you how much its evolved from v3 to v4, Here's to many more years of sabatoge!
